The most famous cannoli shop in boston. So many different flavors to choose from and always a long wait, but I can see why! I got the hazelnut cannoli and it was amazing. Also try the lobster tail!

Let's just start with this: It was worth the 3 hour wait. Get there early, give them your number, and they'll call you when your table is ready. In the mean time you can just hang out in the lovely cafes in the surrounding area. This place serves the best oysters I've had, and all the other (cooked) dishes are ...

    Modern Pastry

    0.09 mi from North End

I hadn't brushed up on anything "Boston" before arriving here. When I saw the line outside the door of Modern Pastry, I knew that I had to wait in it for something. Unfortunately, I really didn't have a hankering for anything and especially not cannoli--it just wasn't speaking to me. The server did say they were best known for their ...

This is a great place to grab a cup of coffee or tea and hang out. The lobster (puff pastry with cream cheese-like filling) is delicious, but huge, so share with a couple of people. Nothing on the menu has prices, so you're not sure how much your drinks are. A lot of people hang around, chatting, but the waitresses ...

I think this is the best Italian restaurant in Boston's North End. The anti pasti is excellent and quite cheap. The main courses are very large and really give you a taste of Italy. Be sure to make a reservation, since it's always quite busy, even on weekdays.

One of, if not the best restaurant on Hanover Street, which is really saying a lot. The owner is so sweet, and the service is amazing. They were wonderful about modifying any dish for us, and if we wanted something that wasn't listed they would make it anyway.

Nice dive bar in the north end. Very New England feel to it. Right on the water which is a rare find in Boston. By night, turns into the "Tail Loft".....quite a scene.

Stumbled into this place and found the owners wife sitting at the end of the bar. She was warm and charming and pointedly to the hand made pasta special which was out of this world delicious. This place is packed with Boston locals and everyone seemed to know each other. Part of the Frank dr Pasquale empire, this place has ...

It was recommended by a local to pick up an Italian sub for my plane ride home to California from Monica's. Having no clue of what to order, I asked for their specialty. In return, I was asked if I wanted a small or large. No kidding, the small size Italian sub would be deemed a large according to Subway. ...

Such good Italian food! I came here for a late lunch with a friend on a weekday, and we were not disappointed (even though our original plan was to go to the place across the street, which happened to be closed at the time!). I had the eggplant parmesan and it was amazing! Huge portion, and somehow I finished it! ...

This place is the size of my bedroom, but if I could make pasta as tasty as they do here, I would never leave my home. I got dinner here more out of convenience than anything else and, although I don't regret it, I know it wasn't one of my smartest decisions. The food was ok, but there are way too many good places to eat for a more affordable price right around the corner. Boylston Street is filled with Bar & Grill places that have ...
