A modern jewel in a dilapidated part of town but still a walking distance from everything of interest. I love the glass bathroom walls and the 5 different lighting zones you can control from your bedside. Vallet parking, full breakfast buffet, everything was world class. If I'm ever again in Thessaloniki, I'm definitely staying there again.Popular with

An ambitious resort 4km from Mount Athos. Camouflaged by palm and pine trees on a 1km sandy beach, it feels secluded. Like any other resort, the place has it's walk-in wine cellar. There are activities galore: water sports, art classes and a sailing boat for tailor-made excursions.Popular with

Modeled on the austere architecture of Athos and stuffed with original antiques and artworks, is a boutique hotesl with staggering views, wines ...Popular with

Behind the security gates, tanned blonds and oligarchs putter through manicured gardens on their golf carts. Missoni drapes, Fendi pillows, Bulgari toiletries. The St. Barth's spa is decorated with marble deities. The best of the five restaurants is Squirrel where the molecular menu features nitrogen foam with lime and green tean and Pina Colada deconstruction.
