The Hippie forced The Yuppie to act out scenes from the movie. It was pretty frightening. But seriously, this is a charming and colorful neighborhood, not to be overlooked.

Charming neighborhood with lots of Victorian era homes. There are plenty of cool shops, and good restaurants. It is a pleasure to walk around and explore. Check out the Portobello MarketRecommended for:Art & Design Lovers

I enjoyed walking around Notting Hill. The movie, whose title is derived from the place, was filmed here and starred Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. There are many cute boutiques and shops around the area, and I love how the area is painted in different colors.

Explore the streets, which are bustling with activity and the buildings with their quirky edge. The area offers the convenience and high-style living of neighbouring Kensington and Chelsea, but with a more arty and less pretentious feeling. This arty and fashionable area is most popular amongst quirky up and coming artists and unique, stylish individuals as well as the rich and famous. This diverse area offers anything from £4000 designer coats to a second-hand boutique few doors later where everything is £5.

Notting Hill wasn't just a great movie - it's an adorable neighborhood with one of the best markets in all of London. I've found several great old pieces of jewelry here.

Great neighborhood that is loaded with tons of very good restaurants and bars. It's kind of a mix of NY's Soho and West village from what I remember. Great for couples, families and friends for a day about or a night out.

Notting Hill is a trendy little neighborhood, including a public cooking school by Jamie Oliver. Check out a location guide to the movie Notting Hill before you go so you can find them as you walk around.Recommended for:Trendsters
