The hotel grounds and beach are incredibly lux, service is great, rooms are spacious with small balconies - overall a lovely place to holiday. It is, however, a secluded resort lifestyle so may not be a good fit for the more adventurous traveler who wants to be in the middle of things.Recommended for:

Very pretty location and setting. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool area was amazing with swim up bar, plenty of seating, beautiful flowers, and lots of sun! Each day our room was cleaned and were given fresh fruit. The restaurants were also very nice, of course pricey, but that's what you find at hotels. It's walking distance to small shopping area with great finds and lots of spas that offer cheap deals on massages. Most spas and restaurants will provide transport if you need it back to the hotel, but it's a beautiful walk. The daily complimentary brunch was delicious!

I feel I was too young to realize how amazing this hotel is, but even then I loved every minute of it! I still remember how great it was to watch a sunset while sitting on the beach chairs ....this island is lovely and my adventures here are best kept in my diary! ;) I recommend you go on a tour to the temple on the mountain, although it does require you to leave the hotel around 430 am.
