    Marukame Udon

    26 reviews

No frills. Simply good udon at unbelievably good prices (as long as you don't go overboard on the side dishes and add ons). Modern architecture inside, if a little industrial.. But hey, it's in downtown. There's usually a line, but not nearly as long a wait as the Waikiki location

    Alan Wong's Restaurant

    25 reviews

When visitors come to Honolulu looking for the best restaurant, Alan Wong's is the one that comes to mind. Go here for their morning benedicts. They're some of the best around. The spot is amazing, directly on Kaimana beach. Service is never good and no atmosphere other than the beach but that's all you need. Hopefully they will update their furniture soon!

Nice relaxing place. Here you can watch the boats comes and go out of the harbor. The food is not bad, although it's a bit pricey I must say. But I guess you are paying for the ambiance here. Here you can sample local beers and wine. It's located in Aloha Tower in Honolulu area. Aloha Tower has few restaurants ...

The Alley Restaurant Bar & Grill

A restaurant located inside the bowling alley, they are very popular for the food and especially their dessert. It gets really busy here, definitely try the food or just order the dessert to go. There's also a nice small bar, and of course, the bowling alley.

Amazing! Very expensive, but worth it. The perfect spot for a special occasion. Try the tasting menu with wine pairings. Note that a long sleeved collared shirt or a jacket are required for men.

One of my all-time favorite restaurants. Love the fresh fish, inventive dishes like foie gras nigiri and the not-too-sweet desserts.
