    Giovanni's Shrimp Truck

    51 reviews

Had a very nice experience. There are several other vendors in this location as we'll, so it need not be "only" shrimp. Shrimp scampi is consistently excellent. A shop nearby made delicious natural lemonade. Taco truck sound good too but it was closed on Sunday.

    Duke's Restaurant & Barefoot Bar

    54 reviews

Get into the Aloha spirit having a drink beach side. In the evenings they sometimes have a ukulele player to add to the Hawaii vibe. The bar area is massive great for big groups.

    Tiki's Grill & Bar

    28 reviews

It was my first night out in Honolulu and I went to Tikis Grill and Bar, which was just the perfect spot to watch a beautifull sunset, as the place is on second floor and the sun slowly sets between the palm trees across tikis and fades away in the ocean. Tikis has some great drinks and food, tried the ...

    Marukame Udon

Cheap, fast and delicious! There's always a line outside of Marukame Udon in Waikiki but it moves quickly and it's worth the wait. Hand cut udon noodles in a handful of styles are available to choose from, then select your tempura items or musubi and enjoy!

RumFire is a pretty cool spot for drinks and bites. The service is amazing and the views (with the right seat) are killer. Thankfully my drinking companion has the eyes of an eagle when spotting a great open seat, and we scored a spot in the corner by the ocean. Drinks are pricey. I recommend the individual cocktails and not ...

One of my favorite places to eat when I visit Honolulu. The boneless chicken and strawberry slush float are my two favorite. Kimchee fried rice, spam and eggs, Portuguese sausage and rice are good breakfast choices.

    Boots & Kimo's Homestyle Kitchen

    21 reviews

Great breakfast place. The banana pancakes with macadamia nut sauce were incredible. I'm still thinking about them. We also had an omelette with corned beef, cheese and onions that was fantastic. This place gets crowded, so come early or expect to wait a bit. The setting inside is not that impressive, and the service was mediocre. But for those pancakes...its ...

I LOVE Shirokiya!! It is my favorite place to eat in Ala Moana. It's a Japanese dept. store with a cafe located on the upper level. There are many vendors offering all kinds of Japanese and Hawaiian cuisine. I've actually had some of the best poke I've ever eaten here. I love Japanese foods and have spent a little time ...

    Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar

    21 reviews

The first think you will notice about Shokudo when rolling up is the unique layout. This is far from your hole-in-the-wall kind of establishment, taking up a huge portion of the bottom floor of an office building that was formerly a bank. Bright red decorations and numerous windows draw even more attention to the place, but the real show-stopper is ...

    Lucky Belly

    17 reviews

A new local favorite! This ramen restaurant has a 1-page food menu, yet their drink offerings cover 4 pages. The pupus are delicious and the ramen bowls are huge, filling meals, but be warned - even the biggest bowl of ramen will get you through maximum 1 of the 4 pages of cocktails.

    Romy's Prawns & Shrimp

    16 reviews

This is the place I take friends and family who are visiting oahu. Located just out of Kahuku town on the North Shore side about a mile. Try the garlic shrimp plate or if the have try the prawns with the head on. Long waits sometimes but well worth it.
