If you are looking for a good base of operations for your SF Bay Area trip, I wouldn't recommend this Marriot, near the city center of Oakland. First of all, the city center of Oakland is not a place you want to be wandering around at night. This place is really for convention-goers and business people who need quick access ...Popular with

This Courtyard is just OK. I didn't feel very safe in Oakland although I travelled here for years. I'd much prefer to be standing on Broadway hailing a cab instead of on a side street. The room was clean and just OK.Popular with
