Just a short walk from the Magnificent Mile, Navy Pier, and most of the nicest downtown hotels, the Ohio Street beach is a great place to spend an afternoon catching some sun or just walking off dinner. It's a small beach, but clean and usually not too crowded.

A lesser known beach so it tends to be a little less packed than North Avenue & Oak Street. It is also a great place to watch the air & water show if you want to beat traffic afterwards with a quick escape.

People flock here in the summer to sunbathe and enjoy the warm weather, and any summer's visit to Chicago would be incomplete without stopping here.

Just stats away from Michigan Avenue this dog-friendly beach is an absolute must do for first-timers visiting Chicago. In the summer this is a very busy area with people sunbathing, running, playing and swimming.
