Though I'm not a gay man, I looove Old Compton Street. I Camisa and Sons, the Italian deli, and the little coffee place where you can get an espresso that's GOOD for a pound...great street for eating and enjoying the Soho vibe.

Old Compton Street in Soho is the epicentre of Gay London life. A stroll along this street at virtually any time of the day will guarantee access to gay bars, restaurants, cafes, fashion outlets, sex shops, gift shops, and more – and all targeted towards a gay clientele. I recall being a closeted 13 year old and travelling to Old Compton Street on Saturdays, walking up and down the road over and over again, simply amazed that there could be a whole street full of gay people drinking coffee, chatting with friends, and kissing in public.
