Olive & Thyme is a super cute gourmet bakery and coffee shop. I came to grab a coffee and kill time with friends prior to attending a taping of the Conan show at the Warner Brothers studio nearby.
Parking is kind of completely horrible. After circling around for a while, I luckily found parking about 2 blocks down.
They have several food items in the cold case. They will heat them up for you. They also have quite a few baked items. I almost gave in and got a red velvet whoopie pie. I didn't do much better though by purchasing a bag of homemade caramel corn for $12...
The best part about Olive & Thyme is they serve Intelligentsia coffee. I had their vanilla latte and it's seriously the best vanilla latte I've ever had. I also love the design on their cups. I'm definitely a fan and will be back again for more of their delicious coffee.

Olive & Thyme is like a little trip to New England. White accents, free dog treats for your pup, quaint little kitchen accoutrements for sale and a case full of delicious pastries like pumpkin pie and coconut macarons. I've only been for breakfast, but the food was wonderful: thick, steel cut oatmeal with cranberries and blueberries, Intelligentsia coffee made WAY better than how Intelligentsia makes it, and an egg, bacon and cheese sandwich that didn't leave me rolling on the floor in pain.
The seating area is full of communal and individual tables, and while you wait for your food you can drool over the chocolate chip waffles the kid sitting next to you ordered.Recommended for:

Oh man. This is a great lunch spot. Great salads, sandwiches, a great place to get food gifts, they have a cheese case and great baked goods. Only problem, it gets super crowded here during lunch, but a must try if you're in the area. I am particular to the pot roast sandwich or the cobb salad.
