    The Chedi Muscat

    The Chedi Muscat

    Hotel Class:
    5
    4 reviews

Oman is an unspoiled haven of Middle Eastern tradition. Surrounded by dramatic mountains, the ‘Grand Canyon of the Middle East,’ and miles of turquoise seas, tradition and modernity converge. The Chedi is a multiple award-winning property, fusing sensual Omani architecture with stylish design. Expect to see a beautiful international crowd sipping Singapore Slings whilst soaking in indented beds in the ...

Shangri La's Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa - Al Husn

I have stayed here on numerous occasions through work and I love the complex.3 hotels all in 1 resort, all of different star ratings. The hotel complex maybe a little of the way but it does have its very own beach with different activities available. Pools and a lazy river to take you between 2 of the hotels. There are ...

    Al Bustan Palace Hotel

    Al Bustan Palace Hotel

    5
    2 reviews

The best Ritz Carlton I have stayed at. Everything about the Al Bustan is over-the-top and the lobby could compete with many a Grand Mosque. The hotel itself is a highlight of Muscat and well worth the splurge. Exceptional decor, rooms, service, food and beverage, and a great pool and beachfront. Highly recommended. The hotel offers a free shuttle to ...

If you like luxury villa accommodation built in an indigenous style of stone and palm set between the fjords of Arabia and the warm waters of the Gulf of Oman on the Musandam Peninsula, you'll love Six Senses Zighy Bay. DId I mention the private beach, infinity pools, spa and dive packages on hand?

    Ibis Muscat

    Ibis Muscat

    4
    1 review

The Ibis Hotel in Muscat is refreshing. You won't find any over the top, Liberace inspired furniture in the lobby here - nothing but restrained elegance from the moment you step into the entranceway till the time when you're resting your head on the down pillows at night.

    Misfah Old House

About half and hour drive from Nizwa you'll find Misfat Al Abreen - a terraced mountainside hamlet of mangos, bananas and date palms above the quaint village of Al Hamra. The mountain air, shade, water and views are like the desert oasis of your childhood's imagination only set in Oman's stunning Hajar Mountain range instead of in the Arabian sands. ...

    Falaj Daris Hotel

    Falaj Daris Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    3
    2 reviews

Despite the glacial service and the overpriced fare, this hotel is a fave hangout of the expat crowd. Three bars - one English style pub, an African themed bar plus an Arabic bar with an 'Africa' show and an Arabic dancing show respectively, plus two swimming pools and fully stocked bars leave no doubt why the expatriates patronize this place.

    Al Sawadi Beach Resort

    Al Sawadi Beach Resort

    Hotel Class:
    3
    1 review

Al Sawadi Beach Resort is the Sultanate's answer to 'Sin City' and given the fact that it's just a hop, skip and a jump from the Sultan's Palace in Muscat, it's particularly sinfully delightful place to take in a Brazilian belly dancer, a Phillipina floor show, have a snort of Scotch or just laze by the pool in a blaze ...

    Sohar Beach Hotel

    Hotel Class:

    1 review

A castle like hotel with both towers and parapets protects a large pool surrounded by astro-turf from the watchful eyes of Omani locals. Fancy a lager under the Arabian Sun? Wanna sink your toes into the black sand that Sinbad supposedly set sail from on his adventures on the seven seas? The Sohar Beach Hotel is your place then - ...

    Naseem Hotel

You won't find any airport security here like at the other more 'starry eyed' hotels in Muscat nor are you likely to run into any heads of state but that's part of the Indian charm of this little simple, basic, clean hotel by the sea. 15-20 Omani Rials a night puts you right on the edge of the most atmospheric ...

    Golden Tulip Nizwa

    Golden Tulip Nizwa

    Hotel Class:
    2
    1 review

Affectionately known as the 'Golden Toilet' among the local expats, this hotel, despite the slow service, over priced meals and microscopic gym, still manages to draw an afternoon crowd (if you consider 10 people around the pool a crowd, that is). The draw card can only be the fact that this is one of the only two hotels in Nizwa ...
