- 1Al Bustan Palace Hotel, Muscat, Oman1 review
A lovely spot for brunch or breakfast inside the Al Bustan. The food, service, atmosphere and views are all excellent. Brunch / breakfast is a high-quality buffet with a good mix of local and international items. Keep an eye out for the Zaatar croissants. Dinner is Indian and fairly mediocre.Popular with

- 3Mutrah (across from fish market), Muscat, Oman1 review
This small restaurant serves up good seafood and Indian food. The real draw is the terrace and view of the harbor. Lunch time can be incredibly hot (even in January). May be worth a visit for breakfast or dinner to avoid the heat.Popular with

Cheap, fresh and made to order Middle Eastern food is what you can expect from the Egyptian staff at the White Coral Restaurant in Muscat, Oman. The falafel is the best I've ever had and I've lived in the Arab world for six years now so when it comes to falafel, I ain't exactly wet behind the ears if you ...Popular with
- 7Al Bashair St Muscat (0)9933 2323 kargeencaffe.com
A must visit - ideally during the time when weather allows al fresco dining. Finding the location is a bit dicey as it is tucked behind a shopping area (in a posh area - Madinat Al Qaboos). The atmosphere is amazing and the food is also acceptable. Booking in advance is a must as this place is always full to ...
- 8Al Bustan Hotel, Muscat, Oman1 review
This exceptional seaside seafood spot delivers on atmosphere, food, and service. The seafood here is fresh and perfectly cooked. Located inside the Al Bustan Palace Hotel. It is easy to run up a significant bill here. If you are on a budget, stick to having a drink.Popular with
- 10Al Qurm Heights RD, Muscat, Oman1 review
The staff aren't very friendly and the decor and music could be improved but the food is among the best Indian I have had. A great choice if you need a break from Middle Eastern and are in central Muscat. The hillside location is great but the decor and entertainment lack soul. Can only bare Frère Jacques on a sitar ...Popular with
- 11Haram (near Nizwa in the way to Jebel Sham), Nizwa, Oman
Excellent dive Yemeni restaurant in Haram. Set meals include soup, salad, rice and seasoned lamb, chicken or fish. The atmosphere is as basic as it gets but very popular with locals and you won't see another tourist. The fish is exceptional and a full meal runs 2 rial ($5).

We have just came back from the Tche Tche at Muscat, Oman. The worst experience ever! The restaurant was a half full, with vey few people eating, meaning it wasn't some big crowd in there. Eight of us (four children) were waiting for more then 45 minutes for our meals. I have waited additional 10 minutes for the Chef salad ...Popular with
- 14Mutrah Corniche, Muscat, Oman
The food doesn't win any awards but is passable. The real draw here is the Corniche location and the juices. The mint lemon spicy is excellent. A great spot to people watch and refresh after shopping in the souq.Popular with
