Unlike its downtown counterpart, this Omni hotel does not have a multitude of bars, shops, and restaurants. But just like its big brother, it is certainly a high-end place to stay. Though they do have some cheaper rooms if you know where to find them, the moment you walk in the lobby you can tell this is a hotel unlike most hotels. Unique architecture, elegant design, a classy bar, and the kind of restaurant that makes you want to dress up. Even though it's a long drive to any real entertainment, you get the feeling you won't get bored easily. It's good for families and friends, and definitely good enough to cater any kind of convention.Recommended for

There are several Omni Hotels in Dallas, and I was actually unaware this one existed. It’s hidden away just outside of Irving amidst office buildings and new apartment complexes. If you didn’t see the sign, you’d probably think it was another pretty office tower. Inside, they turn up the wow-factor marble floors, columns and a contemporary color palette. They go for that look I like to call “modern classic” which is a hybrid between classic grandeur and contemporary cool. It’s reflected in the choices in carpeting, and decor. As a suburbanite, I consider this place sort of hidden, but for business travelers who need equal access to North Dallas and Irving, this is your place.

We stayed here last weekend and this place was nice. Very elegant foyer and restaurant/bar area. The rooms were very spacious. The bone I have to pick is that the breakfast was not very good and two people in my group became sickish and had to make immediate bathroom stops... So the hotel is nice but beware the food!
