This hotel is just across the circle from George Washington University Hospital, and about a 7 block stroll down Pennsylvania Avenue to the White House. It caters primarily to business travelers. Since the suites have kitchenettes, some folks stay one night, some stay for a couple of months. The hotel will make special financial arrangements for long term guests.
I like the rooms with balconies facing the circle, despite the ambulance traffic! I'd leave the car at home. Parking in this part of town is horrible, and expensive.

I was surprised by the spaciousness of the suite. There was ample room to work, or to have a co-worker come up for coffee. The kitchen area, though plain, was large as well.
The hotel is somewhat utilitarian, and the carpets look a bit worn. But the staff is friendly, and the lobby has a nice place to sit, with windows all around. The restaurant downstairs is convenient, with a clubby atmosphere.
I also enjoyed the lemon water in the lobby!
