If you hear someone refer to OCAD, this is what they mean. Stop by the college just to check out the incredible structure that is the Sharp Centre for Design, which you can't miss - it's a black and white checkered box supported by multi-colored beams. The box is actually a 4-story building. Very cool.Recommended for:

Located on McCaul Street besides the AGO, this modern looking structure is actually the home of Canada's largest and oldest university for art and design. Designed by acclaimed British Architect Will Alsop, The Sharp Centre for Design was completed in September 2004 as a campus re-development project. Its one-of-a-kind "table top with crayon sticks" structure has quickly become one of the most exciting architectural landmarks in Toronto.
