As a die hard Raiders fan, this place is like a second home to me. There's honestly nothing quite like a Raiders game. The overall atmosphere is absolutely ridiculous and the fans are nuts. The only thing comparable in terms of a sporting event that I've ever been to is a soccer match in Europe.

Before Mt. Davis was built, I never got tired of the view of the East Bay hills past the outfield while cheering for my beloved Oakland A's. Those were the days of Tony LaRussa, the Bash Brothers (before we knew they were on steroids) and a great time at the old ballgame thanks to the Haas family.
Tony is in St. Louis now, although I have seen him during the ARF season. And although Pac Bell Park is a better stadium, I still love the A's and enjoy coming to the Coliseum for a game. I've been a fan since the Team was in Kansas City and the American League has been my home since I attended Twins games at Metropolitan Stadium as a kid. Even though the A's deserve a better stadium, I still like the atmosphere and the warmer weather here. And BART access makes it easy to get here and avoid traffic and the parking blackmail.
However, I avoid the West Side club after the time I had to cover my son up and protect him from 2 fighting drunks who must of forgotten that this wasn't a Raiders game.
