Original London Walks

I've spent a large part of my life in London and thought I knew a lot. Having been on several of these walks I realised that I didn't. I found them really interesting and educational.

    Meanwhile Gardens

0.95 mi from Original London Walks

Meanwhile Gardens is a neat little place if you live nearby. There's a skate park, which is fun to watch, and a bit of grass by the canal. However, the grass can get a bit long and buggy. I wouldn't travel to check this park out, but if you're looking for a bit of green nearby it's not too shabby.

This is simply the best delicatessen in London. If they don't sell it or can't source it, it's not worth having. Occasionally they go overboard with £5 South African peaches (because they can), but everything is very high quality. There's no way to go wrong.

Great teachers and a lovely West London location round out the New York-based Jivamukti practice, which is very physical but has a strong spiritual bent. Expect to do a little singing before your first down dog.

One of my favorite parts of the downtown area. Great places to get some peace from the hustle and bustle of the city. Definitely take one of the river taxis! The boats are very nice, with mini bar/cafe on board, and the ride is beautiful! You don't have to just take one of the tour rides, they now have options ...

Oxford is one of London's main shopping drags. It's nice to see, but not so nice to pay the higher prices just because you found it on Oxford Street.
