    Universal Studios Florida

This park definitely has a different vibe than Disney and would probably be better for kids who feel they've outgrown the Magic Kingdom. That said, I've only been once and wasn't itching to go back.

    Islands of Adventure

My favorite theme park in Orlando for adults. The roller coasters are scarier than what you find at Disney and the themes are still nostalgic enough to tap into that inner child.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

    105 reviews

BEST! If you're a Harry Potter nerd like I am, you will love this place. It's the closest you're going to get to Hogwarts on this side of the world. They did an excellent job in capturing the feel of the movies and books. The souvenirs are great, too!

    Orlando Premium Outlets

    85 reviews

Super busy area with a ton of shops to explore. I went straight for the Disney outlet to hunt for bargains there. Parking can be challenging, so be prepared to stalk pedestrians to grab their spot as they leave. This place isn't far from the Disney area, so it's easy to make a detour so long as you have a ...

Went on side that has all the restaurants and 3D movie/rides. It pretty fun. Took us 3-4 hrs to walk around. Didnt see anything of the 3D movies and a child 6-7 would be scared of. Went 8/10

    Universal CityWalk

    50 reviews

This is a great way to spend some time without paying the admission price for a little bit of Universal. Parking will still set you back. The number of eateries and shopping should be enough for anybody.

Great. Diverse set of activities (lazy river, water slides, wave pool). But more importantly - activities for all ages (infants to adults) and not so corporate marketing/branded (a la Disney) where they are in your face all the time. Would highly recommend.

A Great Shopping Mall to find those Branded goods, although not the place to find bargains. IKEA is just round the corner!

    Discovery Cove

    41 reviews

We visited Discovery Cove within its first month in operation and it was amazing. Since that was ten years ago, I hope to visit it again in this decade because it was a dream day! I'm not sure how things have changed, but when we visited the experience was amazing. When you entered Discovery Cove, you felt like you were ...

Absolutely Amazing, possibly the most detailed & gorgeous attraction architecturally in Orlando. The Harry Potter ride was the best hands down.

    International Drive

    43 reviews

Ah, International Drive. Am I really reviewing a road that's crammed with cars and stocked with more things to see and do than most other roads? I think I am. There's so much crammed on this road that sometimes it's hard to decipher. If your destination is on International Drive, allow some extra time.

This place is a lot of fun and isn't over priced like so many other places. It is great fun for the whole family no matter what age. I know my family and I really enjoyed our visit and plan on going back. Also if you are Retired Military or Veteran they have discounts.

    Disney's Hollywood Studios®

I'm old school so it will always be called MGM studios to me. I like about half of the park. The slower stuff is interesting the first few times but after 10+ visits I stick to the Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller coaster…..the other stuff is just icing on the cake.
