    Universal Studios Florida

    4.5
    237 reviews

We were very impressed by the high tech used in the 4D rides in Universal studios. Some of our bests are The Simpsons and Transformer. Our kids love Shrek 4D. We didn't get to try the new Minion ride since there were such long lines at the time and we just couldn't stand in the heat with 2 young kids ...

Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks are a "do not miss" area of Central Florida. A great place for young and older family members. Your teenagers will have a great time also. This Theme Park is in two parks so plan a day for each part. Islands of Adventure is set in a circular path around a great lake ...

    Orlando Premium Outlets

My favorite of the Orlando outlet malls. A great mix of highe end spots -- Barney's, Prada, Hugo Boss, etc. A bit hellish near Christmas but almost pleasant at off-peak times.

    Florida Mall

This is a nice mall that has been upgraded and expanded to include a number of trendy shops. The base stores are Sears and Dillards. This is a convenient mall for shoppers coming from Orlando and points south. The food court is very active during lunch with almost all of the vendors giving out free samples to entice one to ...

    Aquatica

Great. Diverse set of activities (lazy river, water slides, wave pool). But more importantly - activities for all ages (infants to adults) and not so corporate marketing/branded (a la Disney) where they are in your face all the time. Would highly recommend.

    Universal Orlando Resort

Universal has a similar, yet completely different feel than Disney. If I had to choose between the two, I'd go with Disney. But, I'm a little partial to the Mouse. Scott's review is accurate and mimics my opinion.

    Universal Studios Orlando

Universal is a wonderful place to enjoy and bring the kids. Three days is not too many and maybe not even long enough to enjoy Universal Studios fully. If you are going to Disney World, be sure to get a 3-day pass to Universal Studios.

If you like chain restaurants and weird attractions this is the place for you. They also have large outlet complexes at southern end and just north of the other end. We frequent some of the restaurants so they aren't all bad.
