I stayed that the Polynesian Resort on one trip to Disneyworld (and I usually switch it up each time). As with most Disney resorts, everything is a little over the top, but with a Polynesian theme here.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Class:

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

These are light fixtures at the Kidani Village portion of Animal kingdom Lodge. Great place to stay if you are traveling to Disney. The only negatives I can think of are the distance from the parks and the bus transportation is usually slow. But, it feels removed in a really nice way. Watching the animals from your room and the ...

    Disney's All-Star Movie Resort

    Disney's All-Star Movie Resort

    Class:
    19 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I have stayed at all of the value resorts except All Star Music. And I think the theming is amazing. Especially if you are traveling with kids. I sometimes wish there was a deluxe resort with this much, over the top, childlike theming. The rooms are small, but it is so exciting for the little ones that you won't mind. ...

    Class:

Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

The only thing I really didn't like was the shampoo and condition. It seems like a small thing but once you been on a plane for hours and traveling all day, you want a nice shampoo and conditioner to clean and moisturize your hair. I don't like shampoo that don't lather. I had to shampoo twice and I still didn't ...

    Disney's Pop Century Resort

    Class:

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I'm going to group my review of Disney's value resorts together. I categorize them exactly the same. If you want tons of theming at minimal price with excellent value then I would suggest Disney's Pop Century or Disney's All Stars Resorts. The oversized whimsical tributes to pop culture, movies, sports or music makes kids eyes light up. Their pools are ...

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

Hotel was nice - the property seems pretty large. We stayed at the Dolphin and the Sean is right next door. Between the two you have a decent selection of restaurants to choose from. It's walking distance to the boardwalk and the ferry service will take you to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. For the other theme parks, there's a shuttle ...

    Disney's Old Key West Resort

    Disney's Old Key West Resort

    Class:

Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

A great value on a vacation home-type stay while visiting Disney. Their Grand Villas are essentially 3 bedroom homes with a backyard porch, jacuzzi bath and the works. You can save a ton of money by stocking the fridge and cooking dinners in the full kitchen rather than eating out every night. And there's totally enough room for an extended ...

The Port Orleans French Quarter is a great resort option if you're looking to laissez les bon temps roulez on your Disney vacation! This is a great hotel that, true to Disney form, pays great attention to detail to really fit a desired theme (in this case, New Orleans' French Quarter). Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

    Class:

I am not sure why the reviews of Disney’s Coronado always make it seem more like the frog than the handsome prince. I had been briefed for a bland experience, but I found Coronado Springs to be quite charming. The fact that it is spread out did not seem like a downside to me. Strolling around the Southwestern architecture and ...

This resort was so wonderful. The best part of staying on Disney property is the free bus rides to and from the airport. Orlando Hotel Insider
Orlando is a family vacation dream destination. There is so much to see and do in the Orlando area that one trip down may not be enough. Not bringing your family in tow? No problem, Orlando has much more to offer than just Walt Disney resorts.

Orlando Hotel Accommodations
The Lake Buena Vista area is packed with theme parks and resort hotels. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, Polynesian Resort, and Animal Kingdom Lodge are some of the top stay choices. The Walt Disney resorts are over-the-top themed, with many of the theme park’s benefits extended to their guests. Other notable resort attractions include Epcot, Universal Studios and Hollywood studios, as well as Seaworld. For resorts located closer to downtown Orlando, the Peabody Orlando has all of the amenities of a resort and is convenient to event centers, like the Orange County Convention Center. For others not looking for a theme park adventure, spas, like the Mandara Spa at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, are plentiful and ready for relaxation after the excitement of thrill rides.

Orlando Attractions
Not looking for theme park thrills? Head to downtown Orlando and the Hard Rock Cafe, the largest in the chain, for some live entertainment and good food. Shopaholics can shop ‘til they drop at the Orlando Premium Outlets, one of the biggest outlet malls in the southeast. Wannabe golf pros will enjoy the 170 golf courses in the area, including Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lounge. Outdoor enthusiasts can take an airboat ride to see native animals in their natural habitat instead of behind the glass. If you’re in town during basketball season, take in an Orlando Magic NBA game at the Amway Center. Of course, there are plenty of hotels nearby. There is no shortage of entertainment when it comes to Orlando. With so many different theme parks, it’s like there are many different worlds to visit in this one, energetic city.
