    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Class:
    20 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

This is one of my favorite Disney resorts, although I slightly prefer the villa side to the Inn. If I could sum this place up in one word, it would be RELAXED. They've done an excellent job of making the Inn feel like a stately old New England guest house, and the boardwalk is a flashback into the east coast ...

Went here first time to Disney with daughters and again last year for oldest daughters bday on New years day. We still love this one and really like being on the monorail. Told they have limited the hours to monorail, so might not be as cool any more

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Class:
    18 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

These are light fixtures at the Kidani Village portion of Animal kingdom Lodge. Great place to stay if you are traveling to Disney. The only negatives I can think of are the distance from the parks and the bus transportation is usually slow. But, it feels removed in a really nice way. Watching the animals from your room and the ...

    Disney's All-Star Movie Resort

    Disney's All-Star Movie Resort

    Class:
    19 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I have stayed at all of the value resorts except All Star Music. And I think the theming is amazing. Especially if you are traveling with kids. I sometimes wish there was a deluxe resort with this much, over the top, childlike theming. The rooms are small, but it is so exciting for the little ones that you won't mind. ...

One cannot deny the convenience of a hotel within MCO airport. This hotel is smack in the center and the beds are to die for. This hotel comes in most handy when we can only get a flight that arrives late in the evening. Usually we are all too tired to rent a car or wait for a shuttle and ...

    Disney's Pop Century Resort

    Disney's Pop Century Resort

    Class:
    18 reviews
Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

I'm going to group my review of Disney's value resorts together. I categorize them exactly the same. If you want tons of theming at minimal price with excellent value then I would suggest Disney's Pop Century or Disney's All Stars Resorts. The oversized whimsical tributes to pop culture, movies, sports or music makes kids eyes light up. Their pools are ...

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were beautiful. Our room was on the water side, but very close to the end of the building near Magic Kingdom. Disney's Old Key West Resort

    Class:
    8 reviews
Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

A great value on a vacation home-type stay while visiting Disney. Their Grand Villas are essentially 3 bedroom homes with a backyard porch, jacuzzi bath and the works. You can save a ton of money by stocking the fridge and cooking dinners in the full kitchen rather than eating out every night. And there's totally enough room for an extended ...

Love the lazy relaxed grounds here. Whether your style is French Quarter or Port Orleans style, this is a relaxing resort. Both pools have fun theming with a watering hole type setting and the other with a New Orleans Jazzy flair. One of the best features of this resort is the boat that can take you to Downtown Disney. I find this resort to be the least eventful in terms of theming of all of the moderate resorts. It's most often used for convensions and it feels as such. The food court here is decent. As for location, it's close to Animal Kingdom and Blizzard Beach. 5/25/2014---updating my comments For years I said, without having stayed at this resort, ...

This resort honestly feels like its own little town in Celebration. It’s massive and has beautiful landscaping throughout the property with rolling hills that many joggers took advantage of. There are numerous pools—one that I saw had a waterfall and even a large, clear plastic ball (think of the bubble boy movie) that you could go in and roll across ...

Orlando Hotel Insider
Orlando is a family vacation dream destination. There is so much to see and do in the Orlando area that one trip down may not be enough. Not bringing your family in tow? No problem, Orlando has much more to offer than just Walt Disney resorts.

Orlando Hotel Accommodations
The Lake Buena Vista area is packed with theme parks and resort hotels. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, Polynesian Resort, and Animal Kingdom Lodge are some of the top stay choices. The Walt Disney resorts are over-the-top themed, with many of the theme park’s benefits extended to their guests. Other notable resort attractions include Epcot, Universal Studios and Hollywood studios, as well as Seaworld. For resorts located closer to downtown Orlando, the Peabody Orlando has all of the amenities of a resort and is convenient to event centers, like the Orange County Convention Center. For others not looking for a theme park adventure, spas, like the Mandara Spa at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, are plentiful and ready for relaxation after the excitement of thrill rides.

Orlando Attractions
Not looking for theme park thrills? Head to downtown Orlando and the Hard Rock Cafe, the largest in the chain, for some live entertainment and good food. Shopaholics can shop ‘til they drop at the Orlando Premium Outlets, one of the biggest outlet malls in the southeast. Wannabe golf pros will enjoy the 170 golf courses in the area, including Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club and Lounge. Outdoor enthusiasts can take an airboat ride to see native animals in their natural habitat instead of behind the glass. If you’re in town during basketball season, take in an Orlando Magic NBA game at the Amway Center. Of course, there are plenty of hotels nearby. There is no shortage of entertainment when it comes to Orlando. With so many different theme parks, it’s like there are many different worlds to visit in this one, energetic city.
