Luxury Hotels in Orlando & Walt Disney World

Luxury Hotels in Orlando

Orlando may bring to mind family vacations with so many theme parks like Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in the area. But there is so much more to Orlando than roller coasters! The beautiful Florida weather also makes Orlando an ideal location to get away for golf, ... read more
shopping or nightlife entertainment.

For the outdoor enthusiast, the JW Marriott Orlando Great Lakes is the perfect getaway to keep you entertained. Off the main roads and bordered by a lake and Shingle Creek Nature Preserve, the JW Marriott has kayak rentals, multiple pools, a golf course, and considerable space. Use a kayak from the hotel to cruise the lake, float all day in the lazy river, a children’s pool to entertain the kiddos and a health spa shared with the Ritz-Carlton next door. One of the JW Marriott’s restaurants, Citron Brasserie, even uses produce grown from their own organic garden on-site. There are other activities for children, like bike rentals and an arcade room, making this hotel a great home base when visiting theme parks with the whole family.

If you’re coming into town for business, the Hilton Orlando could be a great choice. Close to the Orange County Convention Center, hotels in this area are set up for business as much as they are for comfort. Close to the airport, the Hilton has a business center, small meeting rooms and a car service to keep the busiest of visitors productive. But the Hilton is not all work and no play! There is also a pool, health center, spa, 7 restaurants and 24 hour room service available to keep you comfortable after a busy day. Popular shopping and dining areas Pointe Orlando and Sand Lake Road are just minutes away as well. When you need a watering hole, the ICEBAR Orlando, the largest permanent bar made from ice in the world, is just down the road and a great place to unwind after work.

Buena Vista Palace is a great location for those looking to relax in a spa. Buena Vista Palace’s spa is a rejuvenating experience with massage treatments, sauna, jet tub, body and beauty treatments. The Ritz-Carlton Orlando Great Lakes Spa also offers a spa escape in their facility. Ritz-Carlton’s Spa is like another world onto itself with treatment rooms, fitness offerings, heated outdoor lap pool, boutique and cafe-- all for an experience to leave you feeling refreshed.

For those looking to experience the vast amount of theme parks available in Orlando, there are luxurious locations to choose for your stay that will really allow you to relax after a day of adrenaline filled fun. The Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Studios recreates an Italian Riviera village where you can experience Italian style food from their 8 restaurants, cobblestone streets, and gelato. Just outside of Walt Disney World is another luxury hotel, the Parc Soleil Suites by Hilton Grand Vacations. This is a great place to stay close to the theme park action if you’re visiting with family, but also gets you out of the Magical Kingdom if you need a break.

Went here first time to Disney with daughters and again last year for oldest daughters bday on New years day. We still love this one and really like being on the monorail. Told they have limited the hours to monorail, so might not be as cool any more

My family and I stayed here for the Millennium New Year. The hotel grounds are massive and the parks are within walking distance. As kids, our favorite part of the hotel was a HUGE chair in the lobby that we'd all race back to at the end of the day, hoping we'd be the first kids to get to pile ...

I would give this 5 stars had I stayed here yet. I've eaten at the Sanaa Restaurant twice on separate visits, and I love taking photos of the animals on property. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is the hotel where I hope to stay on my next visit. From my pictures, you can see how easy it would be to sip ...

    Disney's Yacht Club Resort

    Hotel Class:
    4.5
    13 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The Yacht Club resort, as well as it's attached sister hotel, The Beach Club are my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. They deserve top ranking because of the resort location, swimming pool, restaurant offerings, and activity offerings. The resort is just outside of EPCOT's International Gateway, the "back" entrance to EPCOT. There's nothing like heading toward the International ...

Location, location, location, and comfortable beds. I'm an EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Studios lover--blame it on my love of drinking around the world. Needless to say, I love the location of the Swan hotel. Their heavenly beds and park views make this an excellent hotel. The lobby has happy hour type events and between the Swan and Dolphin, there are ...

If you've got your heart set on staying inside Disney World, this grand hotel is your best bet. A knock-off imitation of the Ahwahnee at Yosemite (or any other Arts & Crafts national park lodge you can think of), here the kids can gather around the stone fireplace for story hour at night, then get up in the morning and ...

"You do know you're in the Hard Rock after all, don't you?". This was the response I heard a staff member give a couple who were upset over the volume of after hours music. I laughed out loud! Fun, wild and true to the rock and roll feel that embodies Hard Rock venues worldwide, this hotel is kickin' fun place ...

Taking this resort and putting it in a location closer to one of the parks would make me like this resort one star more. The location isn't too bad--at least it's close to Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. However, a trip to the parks on Disney's transportation is similar to travelling from the All Stars Resorts meaning it is a ...

This hotel was just alright. It seemed like it used to be a very nice hotel that has just fell victim to age. The beds were very comfortable, and each room has a balcony. However the rooms were small, and our room was clear off in another building. I haven't stayed that many places near Disney, but there has to ...

From the moment I walked onto their grounds, I felt swept away into a South Pacific paradise. Of the three resorts at Universal Orlando, this is by far my favorite. And yes, it's because I think I'm in Indo-China when I'm here and not in some artificial Floridian wonderland! The lobby, restaurants and rooms are exquisitely decorated in hardwoods, bamboo ...

This place was incredible! Word of warning, walking from your parked car to your room is going to be long. If anyone in your party can't walk far distances, drop them off at the lobby and then go park the car. The room is modern, sleek, clean, quiet and comfortable. It felt very lush. We were lucky enough to have ...

It's a massive hotel...and surprisingly not as busy as it has the potential to be. There are a number of restaurants, pools, ballrooms, and common spaces. There's a supermarket across the street if you're planning an extended stay. It's very near Universal Studios, and not too far from DisneyWorld.
