    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Disney's Boardwalk Inn

    Class:
    20 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

We had concierge-level accommodations at Boardwalk Inn. Room had 2 queen beds and a small "couch." All five of us fit in one room comfortably. The staff in the concierge lounge felt like family and we found ourselves drawn to them for warm conversation. Concierge-levels at Disney resorts are well worth the money. We had breakfast, afternoon snacks, evening appetizers ...

    Disney's Polynesian Resort

    Disney's Polynesian Resort

    Class:
    23 reviews
Very Good! - 83% of guests recommend

My family stayed at the Polynesian resort when I was a kid and I fondly remember the Luaus on the beach for dinner. Also, the monorail ride to the parks wasn't very long at all.

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

    Class:
    18 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

Even if you're not a guest at Animal Kingdom Lodge, it's worth a visit. The lobby is amazing. Even better, however, is the outdoor area where the animals roam free. Beautiful flowers along the walkway, too. Be sure to take your camera. One of our favorite Disney restaurants is located here - Jiko.

    Disney's Yacht Club Resort

    Disney's Yacht Club Resort

    Class:
    13 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

The Yacht club resort is probably one of Disney's best hotels in Orlando, as the name indicates. My favorite part was the family friendliness, as the rooms were prepared for my family in particular. The food is delicious, with the steakhouse right there at the top in my opinion. The beds were really nice and a good place to sleep ...

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

    Class:
    15 reviews
Good! - 77% of guests recommend

Location, location, location, and comfortable beds. I'm an EPCOT and Disney Hollywood Studios lover--blame it on my love of drinking around the world. Needless to say, I love the location of the Swan hotel. Their heavenly beds and park views make this an excellent hotel. The lobby has happy hour type events and between the Swan and Dolphin, there are ...

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge

    Disney's Wilderness Lodge

    Class:
    10 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

Love Love. Everything was good for us on two visits. Once with our girls and they loved the bunk beds. Went back for a Jan visit a few years ago when I ran the half marathon. We loved sitting in the lobby and having coffee in the morning. Biased because we lived in the PNW and love the whole ambiance

    Hard Rock Hotel

    Hard Rock Hotel

    Class:
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 85% of guests recommend

Wow! Amazing place. I didn't stay in a room here but did visit and explore the resort. The pool is fantastic surrounded by foliage, a pool bar, restaurant, and cabanas (for rent). It's either an easy walk over to Citywalk or a quick water taxi. From there, you can get either to the other resort hotels or to the parks. ...

    Buena Vista Palace

    Buena Vista Palace

    Class:
    7 reviews
Good! - 76% of guests recommend

This hotel was just alright. It seemed like it used to be a very nice hotel that has just fell victim to age. The beds were very comfortable, and each room has a balcony. However the rooms were small, and our room was clear off in another building. I haven't stayed that many places near Disney, but there has to ...

    JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes

    JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes

    Class:
    7 reviews
Excellent! - 88% of guests recommend

Grande Lakes - although not far -isn't right next to Disney or downtown Orlando, and that's actually in its favor. This hotel has built a fantastic getaway in its own right. I could spend all day floating along the swimming pool's lazy river or prowling by kayak through the adjacent Shingle Creek Nature Reserve (the hotel supplies the kayaks!). There's ...

    Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

    Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

I have been to full waterparks that are not as cool as the pool at Hilton Bonnet Creek. It was absolutely utopian – waterslides, bridges, fountains, hot tubs, a movie screen, and a giant lazy river. And this is all in a hotel pool, ladies and gentlemen! The interior itself is just as stunning, with innovative décor and various art ...

Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations Club

Parc Soleil by Hilton Grand Vacations Club

    Class:
    5 reviews
Excellent! - 90% of guests recommend

Parc Soleil redefined my idea of what a hotel could be. The property is so grand, that I immediately felt like a VIP just being there. But I was really blown away when I opened the door to the room—it was bigger than the apartment I live in! The full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom, and massive bathroom made the ...

    Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

    Class:

Excellent! - 89% of guests recommend

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is a resort near Disney. You will be easily overwhelmed by the hotel's abundant amenities - multiple pools with water slides, artificial beach and lake with various water sport facilities, golf course, tennis courts, rock climbing wall and numerous good restaurants on site. The hotel is almost an attraction itself. Everything is well maintained and very ...

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

    Class:
    7 reviews

Taking this resort and putting it in a location closer to one of the parks would make me like this resort one star more. The location isn't too bad--at least it's close to Downtown Disney and Typhoon Lagoon. However, a trip to the parks on Disney's transportation is similar to travelling from the All Stars Resorts meaning it is a ...

Ok its on the strip to the parks has a lovely free boat ride to the park area. It has great restaurants and some shopping. The service is superb. The best part for me was a nice heated pool. Hilton in Walt Disney World Resort

Went here on a trip to Disney World and the location is pretty unbeatable. The hotel provides a shuttle into downtown disney for those that don't want to walk and we found ...

Caribe Royale All Suite Hotel & Convention Center

Caribe Royale All Suite Hotel & Convention Center

    Class:
    5 reviews

This is a very nice upscale resort-style hotel. Not only are the rooms well appointed and rather spacious. The resort is set on a lake, so you are not forced to look at another hotel or just palm trees and foliage. You are on the opposite of I-4 in relation to the Walt Disney World area. But the location is ...

    Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes

    Ritz-Carlton Orlando Grande Lakes

    Class:
    4 reviews
Excellent! - 91% of guests recommend

The most remarkable thing about this hotel is its exclusivity — literally. The former commenter was spot-on; the winding, landscaping-lined paths up to the building made the whole experience feel really special and luxurious. The staff contributed to that "special" feeling, as well, and were always eager to lend a hand in any way possible. You won't need to lift ...

    Disney's Beach Club Resort

    Disney's Beach Club Resort

    Class:
    6 reviews
Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

Love the Boardwalk area resorts mainly because of their proximity to Epcot. As Susan mentioned, exiting (and entering) Epcot via the "back way," as my kids call it, almost makes us feel like VIPs because few people know about it. It's a cinch. Our favorite feature of this resort is the pool area. Kids of all ages love the beachy ...
