Caribe Royale All Suite Hotel & Convention Center

    Hotel Class:

I've stayed here several times over the years. Probably not in the right price range for young travelers, but a great place to stay for couples and their kids. Close to theme parks and highways without feeling like you're getting souvenirs shoved down your throat. The Caribe is home to several notable restaurants. Treat yourself to a nice dinner downstairs ...

    Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate

Excellent! - 86% of guests recommend

If you want to avoid paying Disneyworld hotel prices, and skip the chains right outside the park, try this vacation resort with spacious, apartment-style rooms and suites. There are day camp activities for kids (if you need them) and a lazy river ride in one of the ginormous pools. The atmosphere is more relaxed, which is a welcome treat after ...

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground

    Hotel Class:

I stayed here with my family on one of our stays in Disney World. I think it might be one of the lesser known and more affordable Disney Resort options. Personally, I loved it! we had our own little cabin just for the family. It was adorable! It even had a little kitchen area inside. Very nice! Disney quality!

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

From the moment I walked onto their grounds, I felt swept away into a South Pacific paradise. Of the three resorts at Universal Orlando, this is by far my favorite. And yes, it's because I think I'm in Indo-China when I'm here and not in some artificial Floridian wonderland! The lobby, restaurants and rooms are exquisitely decorated in hardwoods, bamboo ...

I stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages with my family. We were 5 people so we booked a 2 bedroom apartment. It was for sure a home away from home. The apartment had brand new furniture and was really well decorated. One bedroom had a king size bed and jacuzzi in the bathroom and the other two queen size beds. The ...

    Ramada Maingate West

    Hotel Class:
    4

Mediocre - 52% of guests recommend

The inside of this hotel is just as much fun as the bold colours on the outside. Ramada Maingate is a unique property with a retro, 60s feel to it. The inside is like something out of Epcot, decorated like a little village. All of this surrounds a heated indoor pool, two features that are very rare for Florida hotels. ...

Excellent! - 87% of guests recommend

I am a sucker for Floridian architecture. Seems a bit redundant to do something like this, even if the Keys are some distance away. These rooms are quite large in relation to other Disney Vacation Club resorts. Wonderfully decorated, it makes waking up here a real delight. The pool area is perfect for the whole family. The restaurant is alright. ...

I stayed here for a week in late June. Fantastic weather at the time, a bit humid, but the Hotel made up for it with it's perfectly placed pools beside each villa complex and a large main pool at the center of the resort. Their service was satisfactory, the bar was small but worth trying. This place is oriented towards ...

    Disney's Coronado Springs Resort

    Hotel Class:
    3.5
    12 reviews
Good! - 77% of guests recommend

I am not sure why the reviews of Disney’s Coronado always make it seem more like the frog than the handsome prince. I had been briefed for a bland experience, but I found Coronado Springs to be quite charming. The fact that it is spread out did not seem like a downside to me. Strolling around the Southwestern architecture and ...

    Loews Portofino Bay Hotel

    Hotel Class:
    4.5

Very Good! - 82% of guests recommend

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Designed to look like the real Italian seaside town of Portofino, it has a "beach front" harbor just out the back of the hotel, where you can catch the water taxi to Universal City Walk. The shops are designed like actual Italian streets, narrow and winding with a false sky painted above and light for ...

Disney has never been known to miss a detail when it comes to creating an "immersive experience", and the French Quarter is no exception. In the massive complex of resorts at Walt Disney World, the French Quarter is among the upper levels of the budget variety which is a pleasant surprise considering the quaint charm of the landscape. A good spot for families or those here to shop, Days Inn Florida Mall really does the basic things well. The rooms are clean and inviting, with big fluffy comforters on the beds and nice flat screen TVs. There is a large pool and kids' fountain, which is rather hidden away within the perimeter of the building. They also provide ...

Tucked away from the "touristy" side of town, Orlando International Resort is truly an escape. It is quiet and pleasant, and with a 10-person staff there will always be familiar faces to accommodate you. During your ...

If I had family coming down and looking for a deal, this is one of the first places I would recommend. It is hard for a hotel to pull off the vintage look without looking outdated, but Howard Johnson has such a nice mom & pop feel to it. This is exactly what people have in mind when they want ...
