    Le Coq Au Vin

One of few very truly special restaurants on Orlando. Excellent French country cuisine in a wonderful rustic setting. The location is terrible but well worth the visit. One of the best restaurants in Orlando.

Bubbalou's Bodacious Barbecue - Conroy Rd.

    2 reviews

Gotta love this road side BBQ joint. It is a melting pot of people and flavor. If it isn't too hot, grab a BBQ sandwich and head out to one of the parking lot picnic tables to wash it down with a big styrofoam cup of ice tea.

Touristy, noisy and a bit bizarre (people on stilts tying balloons and gils in bikinis in giant cocktail glasses!?*&!) but the margaritas are good!

    Butterbeer Cart

    5 reviews

Ever since I heard about the delicious Butterbeer that magically jumped out of the books of Harry Potter, I craved it and dreamed about it. The butterbeer cart was quite literally my first stop at Island of Adventures. It was out of this world DELICIOUS! There are 2 Butterbeer carts in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and quite fittingly ...

    BB King's Blues Club

Hung out here on New Year's Eve and it was a blast. They had a live band playing on stage and lots of room to hang out. The place is big so there can be a lot going on at the same time. I don't like a lot of places in downtown Orlando, but this one has some soul.

Mythos at Universal's Islands of Adventure

    3 reviews

Great sit down restaurant at Universal Islands of Adventure, a change of pace from the get-and-go dining usually enjoyed at theme parks. Mythos had plenty of items to offer our GF family and the service was outstanding.

    Rainforest Cafe

    27 reviews

On our last trip to Disney World we had dinner at the Downtown Disney location of Rainforest Cafe and were very happy with both the food as well as the service. If you sit and eat for a longer period of time, the repetition of the thunder & lightning can get a bit annoying, but that is true for any ...

    T-Rex Cafe Orlando

If you like dinosaurs, if your kid likes dinosaurs, or if you EVER liked dinosaurs as a kid, you MUST go here! I was one of those kids who was obsessed with dinosaurs (though when I grew up, back in the 70s and 80s, we didn't have all these audio-animatronic dinosaurs, I had to settle for looking at fossilized bones ...

    Cheesecake Factory

Located at the millenia mall, this is one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Besides the obvious fact that they have amazing cheesecake, they also offer a wide variety of tasty dishes. I have never been disappointed when dining here. They have a full bar.

Pom Pom's Tea House & Sandwicheria

How do you press and cut a sandwich so crisply that it doesn’t fall apart while you are eating it? There are many great mysteries like this at Pom Pom’s Teahouse & Sandwicheria. The quirky specialties are right at home with the décor, which shows off some very groovy artwork. The open kitchen and cozy atmosphere make it feel like ...

    Outback Steakhouse

Australian themed restaurant. Great fun and great food, but be prepared for a wait at busy times of the day. Eating dinner early or late should have you seated immediately. We have been eating at Outbacks for 20 years.
