This hotel is incredibly busy with lots of comings and goings and the traffic outside is incessant but on the whole it’s ok as long as you don't open the window! Position is excellent; right bang in the centre of the eternal city and great to be able to walk everywhere. There is quite a bit of wear and tear, but it’s not too bad value for money considering its position. It even has a roofgarden for guests. The hotel may not be the most intimate, but it’s efficient and friendly and plenty of places to eat nearby although beware of the tourist traps, try the little side streets to find the better restaurants.Recommended for:

Classic hotel situated on one of the most busy roads of Rome! comfortable, large lobby area with bar and spacious breakfast room with inviting buffet of boiled eggs, salami, cheeses, cereals and pastries etc. Panoramic terrace overlooking the city. Close to many important historical sites; next to the Trojan market, Roman forum and colosseum, Trevi fountain etc etc… friendly staff.Recommended for:

Walking to the hotel proved to be chaotic since it’s located on a main road that cuts through the historic center, which at the same time, makes its location one of the best things about this 80-room hotel. Most of Rome’s sights is a short walk away, but be ready to walk out into constant traffic every time you leave. After having wandered Rome’s hectic streets, I felt a bit disappointed walking into the lobby due to its cold ambiance. The man at reception seemed aloof and disinterested in making me feel welcomed.
In my opinion, the decor seemed too old-fashioned and boring. Two things that save this hotel are its delicious breakfast and its rooftop terrace, which offers you wonderful views of the city! This hotel is practical if you want to spend your day walking around Rome’s historic center, enjoy some downtime on its terrace before bed and stay in your room only long enough to sleep and rest up for another day out and about in the eternal city.

This hotel is OK. The location is not bad, but the street this hotel on is a major thoroughfare through the city -- easy to get to by taxi but full of noise and speedy traffic. As for the hotel itself: it needs a good clean and some polishing up. The staff are friendly though. There's a rooftop terrace that is a nice place to unwind after a long day in the city. If you want to be the in thick of things in Rome and have a limited time in the city, this is not a bad hotel to choose.

The rates have gone up since I stayed here, but this was the nicest hotel I stayed in on any of my visits to Rome. Clean, comfortable, great view of the city from the terrace. For travelers wanting to explore Ancient Rome, the location is especially good.Recommended for:
