The building’s exterior is rather unassuming, and a bit of a walk--maybe 15 minutes--from the MRT (though it will only be about half the distance when the Xinyi Anhe MRT station opens in 2013). But once you get inside and take the elevator to the 11th floor lobby, it feels like stepping into a completely different world. The lobby and newly-renovated rooms of the hotel are gorgeous and rival those of top-tier properties, and there is a very attentive, friendly, and full-service staff onhand. They also have “instant offices” for rent which would be perfect for business travelers who need to rent an office and would like to live upstairs from it. If you want great service, modern style and comfort at half the price of the luxury hotels in Xinyi, this is the place to go.

The Pacific Business Center Hotel isn’t much to look at from the outside, but the interior is quite a surprise. The property is currently undergoing renovations that will be completed this year, and the older rooms can be rented at a lower rate, but the new rooms are very modern and comfortable--definitely worth the price of the ticket. I really enjoyed the design of the Pacific Room, which has a small sitting area outside the bedroom (can be enclosed by two sliding doors) and a swiveling television that allows you to watch from the sofa or the comfort of bed. The newly-renovated rooms are clean, modern, and reasonably priced for those who want to stay near Xinyi District for a conference or expo. It’s literally a 10-minute walk away from the Taipei World Trade Center and Taipei 101. Unfortunately it was a bit difficult to see Taipei 101 from the room, but the balcony has a good Taipei city view, especially from the higher floors (18-20th).Recommended for:Business Travelers

This place was in a great location, and very worth its price. The room was very clean and service was exceptional. We were checked into our place very quickly. All rooms have wi-fi. There is also a breakfast buffet.
The location of this hotel is its main draw. It's very close to Taipei 101, Tong Hua Night Market, and Neo 19.
The elevator for some reason in this hotel was so hot/stuffy, which made for very uncomfortable rides onto higher floors. The hallways were also extremely hot. I guess the A/C is only available to guest rooms.
The hotel facilities include 4 conference/meeting rooms (available for rent), business center, fitness center, and self-service laundry machines. Small- to mid-sized full-service Instant Offices are available to rent monthly. High-speed Internet connections are available in each room, and complimentary wireless Internet is available throughout the building. Dining options include the hotels Ju-Yi restaurant, as well as a variety of area restaurants. Other services for guests include parking, business/secretarial services, tour recommendations. For a surcharge, the hotel will also provide airport shuttle, conference/meeting services.
The hotel has 95 guestrooms, which include refrigerator/mini-bar with complimentary drinks, in-room safe, LCD TV with premium satellite channels, DVD player, bathrobes, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and toiletries. Laundry and housekeeping service. Complimentary breakfast buffet. Extra bed is available upon request. Each room has a balcony with a city view. Room service hours last until 2:30 a.m.
