Padua not a city that impressed me in particular, though architecture is very interesting. Saint Anthony 's Cathedral (Basilica di Sant Antonio) I really liked it. The biggest impression on me was, beautiful square Prato della Valle. Worth visiting this city that has a rich and long history.

Padua is a nice city, with more or less 250.000 inhabitants. There is a big university so the city is very alive with students, pubs, cafe. There are some interesting masterpieces such as Giotto Cappella degli Scrovegni. During winter it is very cold and during summer too hot, so the best periods to visit it are Spring and Autumn.
