- Pagoda Hotel
Pagoda Hotel is one of the inexpensive place to stay compared to other hotels. Although the hotel seems a bit old and the parking lot is a bit small, this hotel is very much close to almost everything you need.
If you are looking for a place to buy shampoos, lotions and etc, there's a Walmart that's walking distances (about 10 min). Looking for starbucks because you're having starbucks withdrawls? You are in luck, because there is one right by Walmart! Another great thing about this location is that you'll find food down the streets!
If you're looking for a place to explore, Ala Moana Center, the mall is about 15 min walk from this hotel. Waikiki is about 15 min drive.
Bed comfort? It's okay. The sheets are a bit rough, however, what can you expect for a somewhat cheap and inexpensive place?Recommended for:

No frills, just the basics. Rooms are clean, a bit outdated, and no view. If you are looking for a low cost alternative to the high price hotels in Waikiki, this is it. Lots of locals have family stay here when visiting. A short walk to Ala Moana shopping center.Recommended for:

This hotel is one of the cheaper options in eastern Honolulu area. It is not in Waikiki proper, but most tour groups will pick up at this location as if it were in Waikiki. I did have to extend my stay a number of times and they were able to accommodate me at the same price despite the fact that it was the busy season. The room was adequate. There was no free wifi in the room.
