What a wonderful little boutique hotel in one of my favorite towns in Maui! There are 15 units and all of them have their own different characteristics. You'll feel like you're staying in a vacation home rather than a hotel. Guests have access to a private beach. Customer service is fantastic - the staff is gracious and super accommodating.

**BEST BOUTIQUE HOTEL IN PAIA**
Paia was such an ideal beach town.
Hawt surfer babes, fantastic cafes, and a clean and isolated beach.
We had an early check-in at noon (instead of 3PM), thanks to Nina, one of the best hotel staff members we have ever encountered.
She personally showed us the beach access and made sure we were happy with our stay. She also answered all of our questions regarding nearby activities.
We opted for a Junior Suite, room #10, a beautiful beach bungalow room with modern amenities and Hawaiian accents.
*Gym membership to Upcountry Fitness (free yoga and pilate classes there)
*Free Wi-Fi (excellent signal)
*Free use of snorkel equipment, boogie boards, lawn chairs, etc.
*Private Beach Access (most excellent)
*Free Ice Chests
*Big flat screen tv :)
*Fantastic customer service (went above and beyond for my bday)
*A bit pricey ($300+ a night for the Junior Suite), but oh so worth it
*Mosquitoes (bring some repellent)
*Electricity went out on us 3x (but the front desk responded promptly)
We absolutely loved this hotel. Best place we've stayed so far on Maui.

If you are looking for luxury this isn't it. Might be good for single surfer dudes and dudettes but not families. However, the location is supreme for surfers keen to hit north shore waves and hang out in Paia, the coolest town in Maui.

Paia Inn Hotel - The Goods
93 Hana Hwy- Behold the Paia Inn Hotel just steps away from the best fish tacos in the world and the infamous Anthony’s coffee. A five room historic building with several private out-buildings on the beach, the Inn was built in 1927 for Japanese immigrants working in the surrounding cane fields.
The Inn has seen Paia grow through the phases of an agricultural community, a free-loving surf town and in recent history a world traveling, high-end hippy community with a love for “local”. A vibe of ultra-chill is woven into the simple, elegant, Southeast Asian décor. Don’t expect any bejeweled gaudiness, knickknacks or fanny-packs of Maui’s south side. The Inn offers a quality, island grown experience – Maui made shampoo, coffee from Anthony’s across the street, local brews, silky furnishings and colorful art adorning every room by the famed Maui painter, Ari Kiriaty.
Do expect private beach-front access, organic continental breakfast, fancy linens, amazing sunsets, the soft sands of Baldwin Beach and comfortable, clean rooms starting at $189. As a feel good bonus, proceeds of every room rental go to local charities.

One of only a very few boutique hotels on the Neighbor Islands of Hawaii, this small spread in the surf town of Paia is like a hybrid of a small hotel and a bed-and-breakfast inn. It's near the beach, though in winter surf is too high for swimming. What makes it so attractive is that it's far from all the other tourist resorts on the west side of the island. You'll see lots of day trippers passing through Paia, but few stay overnight. It's in a great location for day trips to the volcano at Haleakala National Park, a drive down the Road to Hana, or even heading over to the sunny, calmer beaches of West Maui and South Maui for swimming and snorkeling.

Paia Inn Hotel is the only hotel on Maui’s north shore. Walk to nearby restaurants, eclectic boutiques and art galleries in ‘downtown’ Paia, or if you don’t want to go that far, walk a few feet to the beach. When you’re done admiring the local artists’ work inside your luxurious room, ask the accommodating hotel staff where to find the best surfing, kiteboarding, and windsurfing instructors. Get out on the North Shore’s legendary waves, and you’ll know how we feel living here every day.

A well cared-for boutique hotel in the heart of Paia town...you cannot beat the location! Nicely decorated rooms and private off-street parking. On the makai side, so simply take the private access winding walkway down to the beach. They have complimentary snorkel gear, chairs, etc for your use. They also have a nice private lanai that has breakfast /lunch service. All the nightlife is just steps away, including several great restaurants. A very friendly staff was attentive to all my needs. Ony negative: staff leaves about 6pm so after that you are on your own until the morning.

This place is absolutely amazing! You have to see it to believe it. If you can afford the main house (3 Bedroom) on the ocean it's one of the most amazing places I've ever seen.....for a small party or just to hang out. The whole place is amazing. The owners have an amazing sense of style, and Paia is a really amazing place to spend some time.
