My fifth birthday was on the south side of this inlet, I've been in, out and all round this inlet ever since. A side from tough to find parking too get out to it its a pretty fine inlet to explore. It's deep and wide, some really unusual marine life can be seen around if you take the time to look.

If you lack a boat to get out to Palm Beach's outer reefs, the Inlet offers reasonably good wall diving during high tides. Due to dredging for ship traffic, there is an exposed vertical rock and coral face that extends down about 40 feet and is covered in sea life. Best times to dive are during incoming high tide (1-2 hours before dead high tide). You can access this as shore dive from Annie's Dock. Use a dive flag and be very careful of boat traffic!
