    Lulu California Bistro

    52 reviews

Growing up in the desert I saw this building go through over a 6 different owners. It was even vacant for years! LuLu came in and truly maximized the spaces potential. The restaurant is a great spot for people watching as it sits in the heart of Downtown Palm Spring. The outdoor dining area is pet friendly and has misters ...

The wait for worth it at Cheeky's...just go around the patio and wait in the bar...they will take care of you! Order anything from the menu..but be sure to get the flight of bacon! Patio seating is really the place to be...the umbrellas and misters do their job of keeping everyone cool.

One of the best delicatessens in South Calif. The sandwiches are huge so it's okay to share. Don't forget the Pastrami sandwich.

    Koffi Palm Springs

    24 reviews

Great place for coffee. They also have an internal courtyard, in case you want to sit outside. This is also where tons of people bring their dogs while they have a cup of coffee. Ignore the address here - Koffi has two locations, and Gogobot has two listings, but the one you want to go to is at 515 North ...

    The Tropicale

    22 reviews

It's not about the food, oh no. It's all about the lemongrass-basil mojito at this sprawling bar with a mixed gay/straight crowd (though mostly boys, it's true). The bar sits half outside, half inside, so it's a breezy spot to belly up for a drink. The fusion food is meh, but the bartenders are aces. For a faux romantic feel, ...

Loved our dinner at Jake's! There's a great outdoor dining area and bar with misting fans to keep you cool, but if you can score a table inside, that's even better to escape the heat. Their 3-course dinner special menu is an amazing deal at $30 and you get to try more of their delicious food for less. I loved ...

    Melvyn's Restaurant

    12 reviews

Old School Palm Springs elegance. Waiters in tuxedoes, food prepared tableside. Frequent celebrity sightings. Men must wear long pants in the restaurant, although the bar is more casual. Reservation recommended

    Fisherman's Market & Grill

    12 reviews

In downtown Palm Springs, this casual seafood spot is actually pretty fun. It's also lot more laidback (not to mention less expensive) than other places to get dinner over on Palm Canyon Dr. Seafood in the desert? I know what you're thinking. But really it's a decent lunch or dinner feed, with huge plates, daily specials and of course, discounts ...

    El Mirasol

    12 reviews

We went to El Mirasol for a birthday dinner and they sang happy birthday with the free flan. Mexican dishes were good but a little pricey. The rice were standouts along with the chips and salsa. Recommending the steak picado and shrimp in garlic for entrees. Pictured: steak picado
