The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is the World’s Largest Rotating Tramcar. The 10 min ride takes you up Chino Canyon. Starting at the Valley Station – elevation 2,643 ft. and end at the Mountain Station – elevation 8,516 ft. What an experience. Whether you are enjoying spectacular views or hiking in a pristine wilderness, it is a one-of-a-kind experience.

This tramway takes you on a dizzying trip from the desert floor up into the San Jacinto Mountains. In summer, you can hike into the cool pine forest and if you're ambitious, up to the top of Mt San Jacinto (elevation 10,384 feet). In winter, you can rent snowshoes and cross-country skis to follow the trails. Even if you don't do much at all at the top other than enjoying the scenery, it's worth making the trip!

The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is a highlight of every vacation at the Deauville. Perfect to cool down in the daytime, dine in the restaurant, or hike at the top of Mt. St. Jacinto.
