Fifty yards from the beach and a block from the Glyfada square is where Palmyra Hotel is located. Great transportation by tram, bus or taxi within a minutes walk whether you need to get to the center of Athens or Pireas port for ferries to the islands. The room had a balcony facing the sunset and the decor was quite simple, wooden framed beds with photographs of beautiful greek landscapes on the walls above reminiscent of a 60’s or 70’s vibe. Near to the pool is the outdoor bar with tables to relax in the shade and enjoy a cool drink. The hotel’s overall feel is clean with a mix of older as well as modern decor making it a pleasant stay as I ventured into all that Glyfada had to offer such as shops, restaurants, cafes and more.Recommended for:

I grew up in this neighborhood so when I came back for a vacation I knew where to stay.
This is located on the Glyfada Marina, a suburb of Athens.
It is quiet and good if you dont want to be in the city.
The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable.
Location...10 minutes from the beach.Recommended for:

This hotel was great – it definitely had all we could ask for. A block to the beach, and views of the Mediterranean from the balcony! It’s a hotel you can hang out in, from the large lobby with cozy chairs, to the outdoor bar and patio, to the pool area (although with the beach that close, why choose chlorine?) The room was average size and pleasant, and the bathtub was a much appreciated amenity in the basic bathroom. A cold buffet breakfast is included, as well as free Wi-Fi. There’s a large restaurant, but I didn’t eat there. Close by are the shops, restaurants and clubs of Glyfada – the super-chic, beachside suburb of Athens, and It’s an easy tram ride into the Center of Athens to see the sights there as well. I recommend this hotel if you want quality, convenience, and a wide variety of amenities to choose from.Recommended for:
