WOOT! Judging from the pool and room I have to admit that the hotel is very nice. The decor is impeccable and decadent. It's like a nice, dark, warm cave that I find most inviting. It is odd that it's located right there by the highway and on the border of EPA...but I suppose that is the sign of the ...

Beautiful small hotel with flare in the middle of DT Palo Alto. It's a short walk down University Ave to Caltrain if you want to get around the Bay Area or up to the city. Convenient location with lots of shops and restaurants in the area all in walking distance. They have meeting room and banquet space. Lovely courtyard and ...

Based on the bar.. and the bar alone! I like to drink. And like the average guy I like the selection of ones supply to match any one of my many moods or tastes. They love to serve drinks. They love to feed you as well. And they will sometimes feed you for free. The last time I was there ...

Very Good! - 80% of guests recommend

Hotel Keen is located right in downtown Palo Alto and is the perfect boutique hotel for the business traveler or the traveler on the go. Though the rooms are compact, they're modern and uniquely furnished. My favorite feature in the guest rooms is the white board wall. Genius! You can jot down ideas that pop into your head in the ...

Did you know that Doris Day built this hotel as a Vegas-style property and that The Beatles stayed here in 1965?! Me neither. I've lived on the Peninsula forever, and just discovered this. The rooms at the Crowne Plaza were renovated last year, so the amenities are modern. The rooms are spacious too - especially the Cabana Suites, which are ...

Great little gem tucked into Palo Alto. I stayed here when going to meetings at Facebook and was impressed. My expectations were low in the area and figured it would be just another budget chain hotel but it's quite charming with a little lagoon running through the property. Free wifi and very large rooms. Accommodating staff and a nice pool ...

It's hard to tell you're in the heart of Silicon Valley when you're at the Creekside Inn. The rooms are large and open out onto back decks that look out onto green space. The manager's wine reception is a nice treat in the evenings, and there's a decent fitness center. You'll need a car to get around if you stay ...

This is really centrally located, one block from university and across from a few restaurants (and right above one of the best in the city, Osteria). Some rooms go for under 100.

    Comfort Inn

    Comfort Inn

    Class:
    3
    1 review

The Comfort Inn has clean rooms and a good breakfast at a reasonable price. Unless I can find a super deal elsewhere in Palo Alto, this is where I stay on business, and it's where my parents would stay when they'd visit me at Stanford. It's down El Camino a ways, so not walking distance to anything.

    Palo Alto Silicon Valley Travelodge

Mediocre - 60% of guests recommend

For what you're paying, the Travelodge gets the job done, albeit with a few major drawbacks. Location is great. Although its right next to a Foot Locker, the hotel is close enough to major Palo Alto attractions that it doesn't really matter. You're really close to Stanford, Cal Ave, and close enough to downtown Palo Alto. These are the areas ...

Located in a cluster of other motels and hotels on El Camino just south of the Equinox and the Palo Alto business park, The Stanford Motor Inn offers a decent location for competitive rates with a quaint feel. For what it is, this is a very nice motel. As far as the drive-up motels go, this one had a nice TV, A/C unit, and the bed was clean. The accessories in the room -- the coffee maker, the microwave, the TV -- were all pleasing. Even the bathroom impressed me. It has a room with a sink and ...

    Super 8 Palo Alto

    Class:
    2
    1 review

The Super 8 Motel is a decent place located across from a Travelodge, Foot Locker and Equinox gym. The rooms were a little small and the A/C unit was old and loud, so despite the presence of amenities such as a microwave, fridge and TV, they weren't very modern. The bathroom was good though, with a nice showerhead. Plenty of ...

Days Inn Palo Alto - San Jose

Mediocre - 65% of guests recommend

With the exception of the higher prices here (I was quoted $159/night), the Days Inn is a sufficient motel. Located south of Arastradero, the Days Inn is very out of the way in relation to both downtown Palo Alto and downtown Mountain View. The desk staff gets the job done, but nothing more, and the front area smells quite strange ...
