    Oren's Hummus Shop

Great food - hummus is, of course, delicious. All the skewers are great, high quality ingredients. The tabouli is a little heavy on the mint for my taste - but no complaints about anything I have had here. If you come here at peak times, definitely be prepared for a wait!

    Café Venetia

    33 reviews

A cafe for dogs? Hahahahahaha, no but since I went here I suppose that question is justified. We were walking back from dinner in downtown PA when we came across this little space and thought to drop in. It's a pleasant enough place to pass time, get to know someone and try some indulgent coffee chocolate concoctions. And they do ...

    Nola - Palo Alto

    43 reviews

It seems smaller than it is from the street, but there's a nice patio area and smaller rooms in the back past their front room. Nola's always has great mojito's available as well as a slew of other tasty drinks. It's a great place for large groups and has a really interesting decor that will definitely keep you staring at ...

No joke, this restaurant was one of the reasons I was saddest to move away from Palo Alto years ago. Years later, the quality is as high as before. The Ha Long Bay soup is delicious, so is the shaking beef and the salt and pepper calamari is my personal favorite!

    Pampas Palo Alto

    31 reviews

If you fancy yourself a carnivore, this place will not disappoint. Course after course of different kinds of meat are brought to your table and freshly carved. The quality is good, as is the service. Don't get filled up on the cheese bread they bring out or the appetizers - that is a trick so you will eat less meat. ...

    Coupa Cafe

Coupa is a good place to grab a coffee, have a bite to eat, or do some work. I've had meetings and interviews here. There's tables inside and outside, although the place is often packed, and I've had to switch to different spots for lunch. The spiced mocha and hot chocoalte are excellent, as are their crepes.

They have a good happy hour! Service can be slow for lunch and drinks are a bit watered down but still super tasty.

So far I think they have the best coffee. They have many various coffee beans roasted differently. I am sure that you will find what you love here!

    The Counter

    24 reviews

If I had a Top 5 list of my favorite burger joints, this would be on it. My faves are their 50/50 of sweet potato fries and onion strings, and their Counter Burger. Of course, there's always the option of creating your own burger masterpiece. When the possibilities one's "ultimate burger" are endless, what's not to love about this place?

GET THE LAMB CHOPS!! Wonderful list of old world and new world wines. The grilled octopus appetizer is delicious, and make sure you save room for the Evvia sundae for dessert. PACKED on a Monday night - it's probably the only spot in Palo Alto that's consistently busy every day of the week. Make resies! Money well blown.

    Old Pro

On Friday, I'm gonna ride that Bull! Generally very busy and loud, but get in at the right time and you can grab a table. The people are friendly, the food is good and they serve 22oz pints along with a crazy contraption to pour your own beer or beverage of your choice.

    Patxi's Chicago Pizza

    16 reviews

Went on a late Saturday night and had almost no wait as they don't take reservations. We ate the 10" Spinach Pesto Deep Dish which was most worth it's 35 minute wait. Also we started our meal with their artichoke appetizer which had a new flavor to the conventional dish. Overall loved it and can't wait to come back again!!

This restaurant is great. The main reason is because is open until midnight, a couple of hours more than the rest in the area. The atmosphere and the decoration is really nice. At the 1st floor looks more like a pub, but at the 2nd you have tables. The food was really tasty, and the attention perfect.

    Sprout Cafe

    13 reviews

I love their fresh ingredients. You can build your own salad or order one of their specials. I love their crusted tofu, the chipotle dressing (it's got a little kick!), and their corn chowder. They also serve wine and beer!
