Whether you've just woken up after a long night on the town, or are in an herb-induced ravenous frenzy, hit the streets in search of Upstairs. Mind you, it's not terribly easy to find. Even with the address, I spent several minutes standing outside trying to figure out where, exactly, it was.
Once you locate the steep staircase, head up (watch your head) and wait to be seated. There are only 4 or 5 tables in this tiny attic-restaurant; if you don't go early, expect a wait. I would wait a near-eternity for the deliciousness that is the pancakes served here, though.
Here in this upstairs attic, you may start to feel as though you're Alice in Wonderland (the teapots hanging from the ceiling don't help). Let the pancakes assuage your notions of a distorted reality. The probability that you're actually experiencing a permanently-altered state is low.
Fresh from the kitchen, gorge yourself on any of the (extremely) numerous pancake varieties. I thoroughly enjoyed the apple cinnamon-sugar, but I'm pretty sure all of the options are heavenly.
