Papi's has some of the best Cuban sandwiches that I've ever had. Try the Pan con Croquette sandwich, which is ham and cheese croquettes with mayo. It is so heavy and will hit your stomach like a cinder block, but it's soooo good!Recommended for:Foodies

Very casual and inexpensive, Papi's is a perfect neighborhood stop for the stoned and hungover, folks with huge appetites and deadened taste buds.
Big portions, shimmering formica tables, jovial (if often invisible) staff give a pleasant what-happens-in-bodega-stays-in-bodega vibe. The food here is often called "authentic," not for its particular commitment to culinary accuracy as for the food's lack of adornment and at times, flavor.
The two stars given here would be three if you confine the context to cheap restaurants.
