This place straddles the line between 3 and 4 stars. If you can get a seat on the balcony, overlooking the beach, it's a 4+. If not, it's solid but nothing to write home about. The steamed mussels in curry was very good. Fish tacos huge but so so. Service was friendly but inattentive.

Very light and romantic atmosphere, with amazing views out over the water. The regular dinner menu may be a little pricey, so be on the lookout for nights that have dinner specials. Paradise Beach Grille also has a Happy Hour Monday-Friday, and is great place to meet up with friends for a few drinks.

Who doesn't love to enjoy a beautiful view of the beach while dining? Paradise Beach Grille is located on the Esplanade in downtown Capitola and offers really delicious seafood dishes.
Since their portions are large, my friend and I split a few things. We had oysters on the half shell, a bowl of clam chowder and the seafood pasta which was loaded with a variety of shellfish and grilled fish. Everything was yummy! Especially the table bread and dipping oil.
On top of the fantastic view and delicious food, the service was super friendly. Sit outside under one of the heat lamps to keep warm and take in the lovely scenery.
