Paradise Beach Grille

215 Esplanade, Capitola, CA 95010
11 reviews

This place straddles the line between 3 and 4 stars. If you can get a seat on the balcony, overlooking the beach, it's a 4+. If not, it's solid but nothing to write home about. The steamed mussels in curry was very good. Fish tacos huge but so so. Service was friendly but inattentive.

what an amazing site it is to see all of those butterflies around you. we came here at the end of the season (around October) so they told us not many of them left and yet I never saw so many butterflies in my life. This is a must see if you are visiting SC around September - October or ...

    Fast Eddy's Billiards

0.52 mi from Paradise Beach Grille
    1 review

Two floors of pool tables, a full bar and a rockin good time are what you'll find at Fast Eddy's. Happy hour is 4-6:30pm every night with a decent selection of beers on tap. The atmosphere inside is rather dark and pub-like, but in no way do you ever feel closed in. The place exudes lots of local character and ...

    Shark's Cove

1.0 mi from Paradise Beach Grille
    1 review

Nice, mellow wave just to the east of the "Hook" at Pleasure Point. It's a little more out in open water than other nearby breaks, which I presume is how it got the "shark" name, but still pretty protected by the thick kelp growth of the area. This was the first place I ever surfed that had kelp directly in ...

I love this place, I bring almost all my visitors here. first of all I think the road here is beautiful and second - it doesn't really matter if you believe it or not, you are shocked every time to see the visions here. The guided tour is about 5/6$ per person + 5$ for parking.

    Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf

3.84 mi from Paradise Beach Grille

I have no idea why there is a picture of the lighthouse here. The wharf is great, nice walk, people fishing, Stagnaro Brothers is a must for dinner if you are a tourist and of course Marinis Munchies. Go bark at the sea lions while you are out at the end of the wharf, they have viewing holes. More sea ...

Deep beach not too crowded just a ways south of the boardwalk. There are cans for bonfires and lots of driftwood, a lighthouse with sea lions to explore. The sand was nice for sand castle building. When we were there waves that weren't too huge for cold tolerant little ones to frolic in.

I'm not much of a rollercoaster fan, but the Giant Dipper is pretty darn fun. It's a bit smaller than most, which makes it less frightening for those not fond of heights.
