It feels special leaving the hustle of central Bath to discover this peaceful B&B, nestled up the hill behind the railway station. And the views ou the back of the property are absolutely fantastic. It was a lovely place to arrive, with the owner there at the door, creating a sense of being looked after. The sitting room and breakfast room are fairly small but I found it a homely and comfortable feel, with cute white shutters warming the elegant decor. The bedrooms maintain this elegance, smooth wide beds welcoming you to relax. The bedrooms are a fresh space to spend time in, and encourage you to relax with a book or a guide-map. And as I said above, what a view out the back of this little castle! Bath is spread out below and it felt like I had cornered off the gorgeous section for myself. Strolling around the little pond, trellises and flowerbeds, it was breathtaking to be up high above the city. Absolutely try to get a room with this view.
