    31 Rue Saint-Louis en-l’Île, 75004 Paris, France
    24 reviews

I really don't know what to say aside from: Berthillon has by far the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Not only are there several drool-enducing flavors to choose from (salted-butter caramel, rose-raspberry...), but the texture is creamy and thick like you've never experienced before. On top of all this, Berthillon is located smack in the middle of the equally ...

    75 Champs-Elysees, 75008 Paris, France
    89 reviews

Ladurée is a must-visit in Paris. In my opinion, they serve the best macaroons on the planet (sorry Pierre Herme). A wide variety of flavors. My personal favorites are salted caramel and vanilla.

Possibly the best hot chocolate in the world. It's made even better if you have a friend with you to share a whole pitcher!

    Les Deux Magots

6 Place Saint-Germain des Pres, 75006 Paris, France
    29 reviews

Not only does it have an incredible history as the old hangout of figures like Picasso and Hemingway, but the entire experience is memorable. The food was among the best I've had Paris, especially the desserts! Guaranteed to be a meal you won't soon forget.

    L'As Du Fallafel

34 Rue des Rosiers, 75004 Paris, France
    34 reviews

On the rue des rosiers in the heart of Paris's Jewish quarter, l'As du falafel serves delicious Israeli-style falafel pita sandwiches complete wIth hummus, pickles, lettuce, and beets; for a few extra centimes you can add french fries to your sandwich. There's a large dine-in area, but there's often a wait. If you're in a hurry you can get a ...

    Le Relais de l'Entrecôte

15 Rue Marbeuf, 75008 Paris, France
    23 reviews

This busy little cafe is a must eat in Paris. Great steak (which comes with additional serving!) and generous portion of fries. Not to mention the mouthwatering sundae stacks to close off the meal. Love it!

    Breizh Cafe

109 Rue Vieille du Temple, 75003 Paris, France
    8 reviews

Cute crepe place in a cute neighborhood (pretty trendy and hip, which means it's a little more expensive). There was a line and a wait for this place; it seems like it's a hit with locals. Since I went alone, they let me know I could eat two doors down at the shop, which serves the same food but for ...

    Jeff de Bruges

    51 B Rue Cler, 75007 Paris, France

Jeff de Bruges is my favorite "mainstream" gourmet chocolate. With a few stores in Paris - and one just recently opened at the Champs Elisees - they make delicious chocolate in every flavor, to eat right there, to gift someone back at home or to have amazing belgian chocolate machine ice cream.

    Le Comptoir

37 Rue Berger, 75001 Paris, France
    9 reviews

This a very popular restaurant and will usually have a line to get in. We went around 2 and the line was short. The food and the service are excellent. It is a small place but it allowed us to talk with some friendly Parisians about the selections on the menu. They were very helpful and the food was terrific ...

    Le Saint Régis

6 Rue Jean du Bellay, 75004 Paris 4e arrondissement, France
    2 reviews

This lovely little bistro on the Ile Saint-Louis is certainly on the tourist path but with such classic decor and prime placement, hard not to fall absolutely in love with it. The terrace seats are a great place to watch the sunset while enjoying a sip of champagne.

    Chez Marianne

2 Rue Hospitalières St Gervais, 75004 Paris, France
    4 reviews

Can't say enough about the Chez Marianne lunch. See all those people lining up over there at L'As? Dummies. Walk another half block to Marianne's, sit yourself down with little to no waiting, and order the plate of 4, 5, or 6, or even better, share with someone and order the plate of 10 different Mediterranean spreads/dips/goodness. You have never ...

    Chez Janou

    2 rue Roger-Verlomme, Paris 75003 France
    3 reviews

Fabulous, neighborhoody lunch spot in the Marais! Really tasty food, well priced, reasonable wine, and the cherry on top? BOTTOMLESS mousse au chocolat. Not joking. Order it (9E), they bring a massive bowl with a massive spoon, scoop some out onto your plate (as much as you want), and then they LEAVE THE BOWL. Insane. Don't's fat and calorie ...

    Maison Georges Larnicol

These delicious macaroons are priced more reasonably than other shops we visited. Very cute store in a great area.

Beautiful and delicious! You can choose as many flavors as you can fit and they make it into a rose! Try the chocolate in the center with cinnamon petals! Heavenly!

    Le Ciel de Paris

33, avenue du Maine, Paris 75015 France
    6 reviews

I loved this restaurant! The food was great but easily overshadowed by the incredible view and beautiful decor of the place. The ceiling even had these little star-like LED lights.

16 Rue Huchette, 75005 Paris, France

Think of the best thing you have ever tasted. If your answer did not include the gelato at Amorino then you need to fly your butt to Paris STAT. Two nights back to back we stopped in for dessert. Four of us with full stomachs after 3 hour dinners, yet saved a little room for some the best dessert Paris ...

    La Patisserie des Rêves

111 Rue Longchamp, 75016 Paris, France

Offering a unique, yet still Parisian, take on pastries, this 16th arrondissement shop features the work of French sugar sultan Phillippe Conticini and centers on a futuristic display case made of steel and blonde wood, where handcrafted treats sit atop refrigerated pieces of slate underneath glass capsules. The tarte Tatin, an upside-down fruit confection, is among the most popular sellers.

    L’Avant Comptoir

    9 Carrefour de l'Odeon
    4 reviews

St. Germain Standing room only. Was (unfortunately) featured by Anthony Bourdain, so more tourists/crowded, but great fun. Pics of all the tapas hanging from the ceiling and then just keep trying different glasses of wine to wash it down. We went early (around 5), and had no problem finding space at the bar. Started to get crowded (claustrophobic) around 7:30.
