    Les Deux Magots

    30 reviews

This restaurant is fantastic! Great for a special occasion or just a night out. The food is traditional parisian cuisine done perfectly. Be sure to save room for dessert.

    Le Ciel de Paris

    6 reviews

I loved this restaurant! The food was great but easily overshadowed by the incredible view and beautiful decor of the place. The ceiling even had these little star-like LED lights.

    La Palette

This place is hipper than it looks. By day it is a local left bank cafe, by night it becomes a bar hang out. Not in a wild and crazy way, but in a fun, friends getting together for drinks sort of way. Very pretty setting.

    Le 1728

    2 reviews

This is an amazing restaurant. Set in an old townhouse from the 1700s where the Marquis de Lafayette used to live, it is decorated as it was back then. It is lit with candles and the atmosphere is incredibly intimate - like dining in a mini Versailles. The food is french with a bit of a japanese twist. On the ...

    Café Pouchkine

Café Pouchkine is a Russian bakery on the ground floor of Printemps department store. It's tiny but the cakes and sweets are pieces of art, they are so beautiful you feel sorry for eating them. The seating space is scarce, but the wait is worth it, because there is probably not a more glamorous place in Paris to have a ...

Duck confit and fig soufflé? Check. Ability to have an entire meal of soufflés - appetizer, main and dessert? Check. Abundant French political and celebrity people-watching? Check. La Cigale Récamier is a MUST for a leisurely Saturday lunch. Exquisitely executed soufflés are heavenly and memorable.

    Bofinger

Go for the prix fixe at this place, and treat yourself to steak tartare and oysters-raw food, french style. The wine is not included, but is reasonably priced. The cavernous setting is filled with delightfully officious black and white clad waiters busily attending to their own specific tasks.

    Fontaine de Mars (La)

One of the most popular restaurants in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. President Obama has dined here!

    Glou One

Top tier restaurant. A good friend of mine who is Parisian told me "if there is one restaurant you should go to on your next trip, this would be it." Really tasty.

    LES COCOTTES

    2 reviews

This is one of a few restaurants by Christophe constant (some on the same street). They present some fusion platters and also very modern renditions on typical food or platters like risotto, grits, fish. Cool interior with some high tables. Cold/room temp food is served on slate plates and warm food is served in the mini staub pots that they ...

    LE CHALET DES ILES

    2 reviews

Take a ferry across the large pond to an inner island in Bois de Boulogne and voila! A wonderful restaurant with great seating and good food. There is a terrasse and some indoor seating - the inside is not at all gloomy it is a large open room with curtains swaying and large open windows (i assume they're closed in ...

    Madeleine Plaza

    2 reviews

Madeleine is one of the nicest neighborhoods in Paris, with upscale apartments, great cafes and amazing shopping! This is a great choice of location to stay, since it tends to be pretty quiet at night.

    La Patisserie des Rêves

This patisserie is specially known for its design than the pastries themselves. The cakes are displayed in huge glass domes that are pulled by pulley systems to reveal what's inside and it all looks so pretty. Their pastries are good too and the place is tiny, so you'll most likely have to take out but it's worth the visit.

    L'As Du Fallafel

    36 reviews

Nothing beats a Sunday stroll in Le Marais with a falafel sandwich from L'As du Fallafel followed by a leisurely afternoon in the Place des Vosges. Quality no-frills falafel sandwich from the window to the street on Rue des Rosiers. You may wonder why the long queue at this place, but it is worth it for the price and experience.

Beautiful upscale Parisian cafe in Opera. White table cloths, silver tableware & porcelains... If you like to travel in time, you should definitely try it. It is expensive.

    Häagen-Dazs

The most grand and spectacular ice cream store I've ever seen. The place was packed! Choose from a variety of Haggen Dazs favorites, choose cup or cone, and add your toppings for a tasty treat!

    Jeff de Bruges

To compete with the large Haagen Dazs emporium across the street this lovely ice cream shop offers an option for unlimited toppings. Topping include fresh fruit and nuts to go with their yummy soft serve ice cream and yogurt options.

    Candelaria

    6 reviews

This is currently THE place to go for a drink and be seen. The taqueria is tiny and unassuming but in passing through the hidden back door you enter another world: the dimly lit and extremely trendy bar of Candelaria! Drinks are super pricey (12-14 euros) but very creative and exotic! I have to admit that in my opinion it's ...
