    Koff

    2 reviews

There are lots of retaurants popping up around Paris claiming to serve authentic American food that often disappoint me, but Koff is not one of these! This awesome restaurant located up a little street just behind Abbesses métro station has great food and equally awesome décor! They've got amazing pastrami bagels, burgers, hotdogs and caesar salad (and all the necessary ...

    Le Relais de l'Entrecôte

    25 reviews

This busy little cafe is a must eat in Paris. Great steak (which comes with additional serving!) and generous portion of fries. Not to mention the mouthwatering sundae stacks to close off the meal. Love it!

    Candelaria

    6 reviews

Awesome, hidden speakeasy bar. Not open terribly late (definitely closes before 2am most nights), but worth the visit. The front is a junky looking taco place, but walk through to the door in the back and into a cozy hideaway with good cocktail service. There is usually someone at the door, but not always, so it can look very unassuming.

    Great Canadian Pub (The)

    2 reviews

This is where I go every year for Canada day or to watch any major hockey events! Although the food isn't as good as at the Moose (the other Canadian bar in Paris), the bar itself is awesome with a fun and friendly atmosphere. It is located right in front of the Seine near St. Michel so in the summer ...

    Lizard Lounge

    2 reviews

I haven't been back in seven years but it feels like yesterday, when I came in hungry on a Sunday morning for brunch and ordered their Eggs Florentine. I hated tomatoes and I hated spinach, but that day I walked out with a new found appreciation for food that has spiraled upward into a ridiculous food-related adventure. It was perfect. ...

    404 (Le)

    7 reviews

Had American Thanksgiving here, and it couldn't have been any further from what was going on at home in NYC (in the best way)! :) Moroccan, tagine, shared tables, loud music, great ambiance, belly dancers...the food is decent to good, service is ok to less than ok, but you go here for the fun and the place is gorgeous.

    Famille (La)

    3 reviews

La famille is a restaurant and bar on the way up to Sacré-Cœur that is a great place to stop by for dinner or for one of their famous cocktails. The music is always great, although there isn’t much room for dancing, and when I say their signature cocktails are crazy, I’m not lying! They are a little pricey (9 ...

    La Favorite

    3 reviews

A perfect place to have a drink and a burger in the Marais. This cool place has a shabby chic feel to it and lots of good things in the menu. Sit outside when it's hot, sit inside when it's cold.

    Rue Oberkampf

    2 reviews

The whole are around Parmentier is very bohemian and full of bars and clubs. Lots of the bars on Rue Oberkampf and Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud have great prices that go even lower during the happy hours. Try Le P'tit Garage's Mojitos during happy hour ( 61 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud), clubbing at Nouveau Casino (109 Rue Oberkampf) and the cool rooftop ...

    Welcome Café

    2 reviews

Welcome Café, for me, didn't disappoint. Terry was my server and have never, in all my travels to Paris, come across a better waiter than him. No matter how busy he was attentive, friendly and gave excellent service. Knew all the menu items thoroughly. I love their onion soup, etc.

    Buddha Bar

Buddha Bar is located one block over from the posh Rue St. Honore. There is a big buddha inside the bar and restaurant. It is pricey but the ambient music (which has turned into a popular CD compilation for chill-out music) and candle lit atmosphere make this a place worth going if you want to experience the intimate night life ...

    Favela Chic

    2 reviews

Favela Chic, situated right next to lively Republique, is a club, restaurant and concert venue with a Brazilian theme all in one. Here you can enjoy a casual dinner with friends on a big communal table, continue the evening with drinks and end the night dancing away to some dancehall/reggae/house beats. Very bohemian and casual place that tends to get ...

    Prescription Cocktail Club

    3 reviews

If you saw Baz Luhrman's Great Gatsby last spring, and were quick to jump on the speakeasy bandwagon, you will love Prescription. Though the place is quite small and quickly packed, it is cozy and romantic, and the cocktails really are delicious. The staff is quite attentive and willing to recommend the perfect poison. The crowd and music are young ...

    Les Deux Magots

    30 reviews

I suppose it's a must for tourists & literary buffs. Coffee & food are good, not great. Service is typical. If you're wandering the Left Bank, it's worth a stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way. There are many bistros and cafes that are much more fun.

    Berthillon

I really don't know what to say aside from: Berthillon has by far the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Not only are there several drool-enducing flavors to choose from (salted-butter caramel, rose-raspberry...), but the texture is creamy and thick like you've never experienced before. On top of all this, Berthillon is located smack in the middle of the equally ...

    Eiffel Tower

    11 reviews

Does one really review the Eiffel Tower?? All I can say is that my first look at the Tower was when it was shimmering at night (every hour or so), and it was breathtaking. So much more powerful at night.
