    Maison Georges Larnicol

These delicious macaroons are priced more reasonably than other shops we visited. Very cute store in a great area.

    Piccolo Rosso Trattoria Pulcinella

    5
    2 reviews

I may be biased because I live close by and go here all the time, but in my opinion this place has the best pizza in Paris! The tiny restaurant is always packed at night because of its reputation for real authentic Neapolitan style pizzas as well as pastas, salads and tiramisu. The pizzas are reasonably priced from 9 to ...

    Great Canadian Pub (The)

    4
    2 reviews

This is where I go every year for Canada day or to watch any major hockey events! Although the food isn't as good as at the Moose (the other Canadian bar in Paris), the bar itself is awesome with a fun and friendly atmosphere. It is located right in front of the Seine near St. Michel so in the summer ...

    Le Cafe Marly

Although it is pricey for what you get, the location overlooking the priceless treasures of the Louvre make this cafe worth it.

    Coquelicot

    4.5
    2 reviews

This bakery and café located near Abbesses metro station is a great spot to pick up a baguette and some pastries for a picnic or to grab a hearty breakfast before heading up the steps towards Sacré-Coeur. The brunches and lunches offered are copious, cheap and delicious! Inside feels like a farmhouse with exposed beams along the ceiling and tables ...

    Chez Lili et Marcel

    4.5
    2 reviews

This huge brasserie located near Gare de Lyon and facing the Seine is a great place to go if you're looking for traditional French charm and simple cuisine. The decorations inside take you back through time and service is quick and with a smile. Burgers and steaks served with salad and a huuuge pile of fries as well as "croque ...

    L'As Du Fallafel

    4.5
    34 reviews

If you're on this street, you would see every other person carrying a wrapper or eating a falafel from this place. Follow the signs, and you'll be well rewarded. Cheap price, absolutely delicious, and no skimping out on ingredients. Highly recommended.

    Chez Gladines

    4.5
    8 reviews

Though Chez Gladines serves basque food, I've rarely been to a place so reminiscent of traditional french conviviality. This no frills restaurant is loud, busy, cheap, young, and cheery; with checkered table cloths, (thankfully) never-ending portions, and free-flowing wine. Come hungry and early, especially if your party is bigger than two people.

    Amorino

Think of the best thing you have ever tasted. If your answer did not include the gelato at Amorino then you need to fly your butt to Paris STAT. Two nights back to back we stopped in for dessert. Four of us with full stomachs after 3 hour dinners, yet saved a little room for some the best dessert Paris ...

    Rue Oberkampf

    4.5
    2 reviews

The whole are around Parmentier is very bohemian and full of bars and clubs. Lots of the bars on Rue Oberkampf and Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud have great prices that go even lower during the happy hours. Try Le P'tit Garage's Mojitos during happy hour ( 61 Rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud), clubbing at Nouveau Casino (109 Rue Oberkampf) and the cool rooftop ...

    Le Pain Quotidien Saint-Honoré

    4.5
    2 reviews

Pain Quotidien has few locations around Paris, and they offer great quality food with small prices. I like this location for its' terrace. It's is a perfect place for a brunch or lunch, and it's one of the few places where they use organic ingredients, but have managed to keep the prices reasonable.

    Le Relais de l'Entrecôte

    4.5
    23 reviews

A French girl recommended this place to me, and the restaurant was always full. Verdict: simple, and good. The premise is a flat price for all you can eat fries and steak. No wonder people stay a long time. It's great to share a meal with friends over, as the only thing you have to tell the waiter is how ...

    Chido - Mexican street food

    4.5
    2 reviews

So if you are an American stuck in Paris and you get a hankering for some Mexican food, turn no further than Chido. While it is no Qdoba or Chipotle, is the next best thing that you can get. Burritos, tacos, fajitas, take your pic. With reasonable prices (for Europe) this place is a go to for your south of ...

    Boulangeries Paul

    4
    19 reviews

Paul has to be the most mainstream place to eat in Paris - but not fast food. it's a boulangerie (bakery) with a delicious assortment of bread, sandwiches and pastries. The croissant and the pain aux amandes are specially lovely. In some of their locations they have a dining room where you can have lunch as well.

    Pink Flamingo

    4.5
    4 reviews

There are a few locations around the city. I recommend the one near the Canal St. Martin. It's a casual pizza place, you can eat in their little restaurant, or get your order delivered to the canal. They give you a pink balloon to hold on to, so the delivery guy can find you. Their pizza is delicious with surprising ...

    Le Petit Cler

    3.5
    2 reviews

Pretty solid restaurant that got bonus points for being very cute. It was also somewhat near the Eiffel Tower, so after an exhausting day walking around, this was a welcome place to eat. Great ambiance and service, recommend if it's late and you're looking for a bite to eat without a reservation.

    El Guacamole

    4
    2 reviews

I'm always trying to find the best Mexican eatery in Paris and this one is a great spot for authentic Mexican tacos and burritos, with vegetarian options available. It's a perfect place to get some snacks while hitting the bars in the canal. The atmosphere is very casual here, but beware the green sauce and probably the world's smallest restroom.

Possibly the best hot chocolate in the world. It's made even better if you have a friend with you to share a whole pitcher!

    Ladurée

    4.5
    90 reviews

These macarons are expensive, but worth the adventure! I've never understood macarons until these. They aren't too sweet and the flavor doesn't take artificial like many of the other generic places.

    Berthillon

    4.5
    25 reviews

I admit that these ice creams and sorbets are really good, but I now prefer Italian gelatos! If you're patient enough to wait in line (there is always a line-up once the sun comes out) then you should get a scoop or two as they are THE thing to try on Ile Saint. Louis. Just remember that in August, contrary ...
