No doubt, one of the most romantic places in the entire world! It is worth going to the top, at least once. When I was there, a couple got engaged. So romantic! The view of the city is quite inspiring from the top. Don't skip the view from 1st and 2nd stops.

This huge square at the end of the Champs Elisees avenue is where the guillotine was installed during the French Revolution - and its history includes the decapitation of Marie Antoinette, which happened right here. Today, the square hosts a fountain, several statues and an obelisk, which was given as a gift from Egypt.

The elevated garden is a very romantic setting, it was also featured in Before Sunset, in one my favorite movies. It's 4,5 km long, starting from Bastille and stretching through the entire 12th arrondissement. There are little nooks and corners that are perfect for a picnic with red wine and cheese.
