Park 79 Hotel

So on the whole I didn't like the hotel. The rooms are clean and the location is pretty convenient. It is only a couple blocks from the metro and an easy 20-30 minute walk to Columbia University. The staff on the whole was friendly. However, that is about all the good I have to say. The rooms are ridiculously small. ...

Stand Up NY has been opened since 1986 and is one of the more well-known comedy clubs in New York. The comedians are funny, and famous ones such as Chris Rock has stopped by to perform. I could hardly believe a "clothier" still existed in New York, but there you have it. The store is a bit old fashioned, but it still sports some incredible good clothes (Nat Nast for example, love those shirts, even though it looks like you're Tony Soprano in them). I love to visit them, when in town.

They don't let you take photos anywhere other than at the ground level. Overall, not very taken by the art here (not my genre). The architecture of the building is really commendable!

Going to see an opera at the Met is rewarding on so many levels. The acoustics are great, there is a small teleprompter in front of each seat to translate into several languages if you care about the story, and the people watching opportunities are abundant.

While every area in Central Park is worth seeing, and a great place for the kids to run around, there is just something extra special about Strawberry Fields. In the heart of central park, the fountain is a popular spot in the summer. Full of life incited by the water and the playful tourists. This is a beautiful gathering spot for all. With the canoe-ers as its backdrop and the boathouse, it has the flare of a European fountain.

I actually didn't buy any macarons of my own. They're not generally my thing and I just didn't really feel like it. My friend Jimmy, however, bought a small box and we hit the road.
