In the summer there are hiking and biking trails at the ski resorts. Absolutely stunning scenery and you can get in a workout!

Be prepared for their drinking restrictions.

Great little ski town who has 'done it right'. The main street is a great stroll anytime of the year. The skiing is world class. Many lodging options for various price points.

The perfect ski town. Park City has the charm of an old mining store with great shops and restaurants.

Nearly a million annual visitors descend on Park City, whose Main Street still has the rugged good looks of a 19th-century western mining town. It puts skiers in easy reach of mountain resorts, hosts the Sundance Film Festival, and has become a culinary hotbed. The ski-in distillery High West Distillery & Saloon offers customized flights of craft creations paired with dishes like Kentucky whiskey beer cheese and bourbon three-onion soup. The seasonal tasting menu at Talisker on Main incorporates vegetables and herbs grown on its rooftop, while the Canyons’ Bistro restaurant is the first and only certified kosher restaurant at a U.S. ski resort. With the restoration of the 1889 Washington School House into a 12-room hotel, you’ve got a new home base—plus complimentary transportation to your preferred slopes.

Adorable place to go get your snowboarding on. I would recommend visiting around the holidays since the city gets all lit up. Tons of great places to hit the slopes or get a hot chocolate. Fresh snow is always a plus.

Visit Park City in January for Sundance Film Festival and you get the best of all worlds: arts, culture, people-watching, and near-empty slopes with stunning views in every direction. Park City is a perfect place to enjoy the winter.

LOTS of shopping, souvenirs, art galleries, restaurants, snow skiing that has chair lifts that pick you up in town! And runs that go right back into town.

Over 9,000 skiable acres of The Greatest Snow On Earth, more than 400 runs, bowls, terrain parks and 65 lifts, skiing and snowboarding at it's best! Winter or summer Park City is a beautiful destination. A scenic mountain community with 3 world class resorts and a huge selection of restaurants.

Stayed at the Marriott Mountainside, it was perfect. You can walk out of your room and hit the slopes. Very clean and great location! The downtown area has lots of great restaurants and shops. We went and Christmas time and really enjoyed seeing the lights.

It's probably the best part of Utah. It has everything from skiing to fine dining restaurants. I really like walking up and down Main Street and walking into all of the local shops, restaurants, and museums. You should also visit Wasatch Brewery at the top of Main Street for a drink and a burger after a long day on the slopes.

We went to Park City for Sundance but I was very impressed with the city itself. The mountain backdrop and the historic buildings make this destination a post card vacation. Easy to see why it played host top the 2002 Winter Olympics. Would love to see it in the summer.

What do I love about Park City and Deer Valley?

    Short lift lines (usually).
    Long groomers.
The historic preservation of downtown Main Street and vicinity.
    Colorful, small, old mining homes.
Park City Golf Course “Country club quality at public course rates.”
    Trails, trails, everywhere!
The 4th of July Main Street parade.
    Friendly folks.
    The many moose statues.
An appreciation of the value of artwork in a community.
    Park City’s independent spirit.
The McPolin Farm and that glorious white barn.
Coyotes playing in the open fields.
Free outdoor concerts in the summer.
    The free Main Street Trolley.
The easy, long Rail Trail that follows an old railroad route.
    Kid friendly restaurants.
The indoor/outdoor pools at many of the hotels.
Snowball fights in June and July.
    Instant access to nature.
Willow Creek Park and the easy hiking/biking trails that surround it.
Park City Golf Course “Country club quality at public course rates.”
Riding bikes to places and then taking the free bus home.
    Prospector Park’s fun playground equipment.

Went Dec 2-5, 2010. Week before skiing season opened. Everything was greatly reduced in price and we had the city to ourselves. We only skied at the Park City Mountain resort and not all of the slopes were open, but that didn't matter to us. We stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, beautiful hotel and wonderful staff. We will return again.

Awesome town, 3 ski resorts, Main Street with many good restaurants, nightclubs and bars. Park City has more restaurants per capita than Paris. Lots of fun skiing or riding everyday and a memorable town.

Park City. A 30 minute drive from an international airport into 3 ski resorts with world class skiing. Home of the US Ski Team, Sundance, and Deer Valley, one of the only places in the world that doesn't allow Snowboarders (tres old school) and has ski valet. Incredible fly fishing, biking and hiking in the summer almost beats the winter there.
