Luxury hotel with fantastic views! The reason I do not give it five stars is the somewhat boring and clinical design of the room decor and the white curtains in the rooms. My room was facing east, meaning bright sunlight in the room from 6 am.
Hotel services are all great, and to have breakfast high in the sky is a cool experience. I just wished they would put in darker shades to block out sunlight in the morning.

This modern and ultra luxe hotel in Shanghai occupies the 79-93 floors of the Shanghai World Financial Center, making it one of the highest hotels in the world. Be blown away by sweeping views of the city skyline and Huangpu River.

I may not have traveled everywhere in the world, but I'm willing to bet that the Park Hyatt in Shanghai within the World Financial Center is among the very best. I've never experienced a hotel with such phenomenal service and tranquil interior. Everything was beautiful, from the room view to the bathroom with the mirror television and rain shower. When I arrived, the staff sent up a personalized letter of welcome and a plate of delicious goodies. There was a new bowl of fresh fruit every morning. I missed my flight and the concierge spent up 45 minutes patiently helping me book another flight. Next time I visit Shanghai, the Park Hyatt will definitely be my haven.

Extremely modern and chic hotel with understated lighting and fairly helpful staff. Striking views from all angles and a surprisingly cozy almost lodge like grand lounge / galley rooms. Go to the bar for drinks and the view.

While its sister hotel, the Grand Hyatt is grand and traditional, Park Hyatt Shanghai is refreshing, chic, and modern. Although the hotel occupies higher floors of the World Finance Center, the Park Hyatt never did get to claim the highest hotel title at the time when it opened. Nevertheless, it is still one of the highest in the world, offering one of the best views of a beautiful skyline.
The rooms, which are very comfortable and spacious, have hi tech controls for everything relevant. The restaurants do a great job serving delicious cuisines AND awesome views.
In my opinion, the best and coolest experience is just sitting in the lobby, seeping a drink, and practically seeing the top of a building, the JinMao, that was once the highest in the world!
