This is your average hotel in many ways, so I honestly expected it to be cheaper. It is quite large in terms of number of rooms, and there are a couple very large ballrooms that would be suitable for very sizable meetings. They do have a full-size pool with room for entire families, and there is a small outdoor cocktail bar that looks to be a little underused. Their exercise room is strangely small considering the size of the place. It's not a bad hotel by any means, but I was left extremely underwhelmed after getting a good look inside.

My first impression of the Park Inn unfortunately was not a good one. When I arrived, the driveway in front of the main entry was excavated and section off with yellow caution tape. Inside, there was a faint mildew smell that I tried to overlook while I waited for a desk agent to assist me. There were two of them behind the desk, one gentleman very busy on the phone, and an exhausted-looking young lady who looked like she wished she was anywhere but there. I asked if I could see a room and she asked whomever was on the other side of her walkie talkie if there were any show rooms. There was no response and after that she forgot I existed. I stepped to the side, thinking maybe someone else was coming to give me a tour and an agitated guest stepped up to lodge a complaint about his room being unclean and requesting a change. I'm not sure how many days the page covered, but I got a peek at the room change request log and there were more than 10 requests on there. The concierge came into the hotel and took his post, looking idle. It was at that point that it was clear that I wasn't getting a tour.
