The reception staff at Park Lane Mews were incredibly accommodating on my visit to the hotel. They made every effort to offer suggestions considering my need as a potential guest as well as the needs of those in my booking. The reception representative really went out of her way to show me the best aspects of the hotel.
While being shown around it was suggested that I shop around online for the best price available for the hotel prior to booking and was informed that a 33% discount would be applied to all breakfasts ordered upon check in.
I was shown a number of rooms throughout the property each having the needed amenities and plus a few perks like incredibly fluffy and comfortable looking robes and moveable radiators to help guest adjust the rooms temperature to their taste.
The first floor had recently undergone renovations which have caused them to be more expensive to rent than the other floors within the property. It would be wise to take note of that when booking.
With their 24hour room service the Park Lane Mews is a hotel I would love to come and relax within to escape the hustle and bustle of London.

A well-appointed retreat with a welcoming English decorated lobby and 72 stylish guestrooms, on the prestigious Mayfair district in Central London. The accommodations are extremely pleasant, elegant and modestly priced. All of its guestrooms feature a beautiful traditional English décor and relatively modern entertainment apparatus; the suites are mostly spacious and offer amenities such as bathrobes. Onsite is the casual Stanhope Restaurant serving modern European flavors for lunch and dinner. Classics beverages are served at the casual, but stylish lounge/bar downstairs. The hotel lacks Fitness Center and Spa, and the service is slightly rigid and indifferent. The property is situated on a secluded passage across from Hyde Park, and near major shopping areas including Knightsbridge, Bond, Oxford and Regent Streets. The British Museum, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, the Victoria and Albert Museum, the London Eye, the Tower of London, and the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden are easily accessible.

This was for me the nicest hotel I had ever stayed in, as a result of my father inviting me on a trip to London. I remember that I couldn't believe the amount of money people were prepared to drop on a room to sleep, and I remember pleading with him to stay somewhere less expensive (and give me the difference!) But, then again, you get what you pay for, and the fact that I remember the service and accommodations of the Mews after all these years says a lot. It was close to the Palace and Oxford Street, and offered us a great location from which to explore on foot.
If you have the cash and want the utmost in pampering while centrally located in London, this is the place for you. Thanks Dad!
