I got a great deal for a few nights stay here at the Park Regis. Great location, right in the center of the city basically walking distance to everything. Nice place, good value for the rates they offer.
Kind of has a business hotel feel, great for if you are traveling alone. It is right across from a 24-hour McDonalds which wouldn't normally be my first choice but came in really handy with the extreme jet lag of the first few nights in Australia.

Offering good value for money in a prime location slotted into the heart of Sydney's central business district, the Park Regis is nothing flash, but works very well as a base in, well, the city centre. The building is a little bit old, and is showing some wear, but the staff are extremely friendly and relaxed, and were always willing to go out of their way to provide any help or information. The rooms have a touch of class in the decoration, and though the bathrooms are a bit econo-budget, they're all clean and well-maintained, and the rooftop lounge area commands AMAZING views out over the city. That rooftop pool, though? A bit windy for a comfortable dip in any but the hottest weather.

At 18-years-old this hotel is well established, not to mention brilliantly central. Catering to leisure and business travels and tour groups alike, the Park Regis is a welcoming, no-fuss accommodation option. The rooms are a little tired, with dated furniture and shower curtains, although the beds look like they have been recently replaced. Wi-fi and car parking are available (both at a charge) and although there is no on-site restaurant, the hotel has a voucher arrangement with the next door café/restaurant. If you enjoy getting physical, cheap passes to the local health club, where Pilates, yoga and kickboxing are the done thing, are also available. To really take your breath away though, I recommend the rooftop pool and deck. The 46th floor offers superb, if not ‘refreshing’ views!Recommended for:Business Travelers
